I thought my native country Serbia was corrupt. But Europe and America, the cradle of modern democracy, is so corrupt it stinks to high heaven. The difference is that they are powerful enough to convince others they are not. Humiliating Serbs once was apparently not enough. Now they want to aquitt Gotovina a second time.

"Operation Storm left almost 2,000 Serbs killed and more than 220,000 Serbs expelled, and so far no one has been sentenced for these crimes.

During the 1991-95 civil war in Croatia, a total of 404,000 Serbs were expelled, Tanjug reported."

Can't believe B92 is writing this stuff. Takes me back to the 1990s with Milosevic at the helm.

Since the acquittal was largely connected to getting Croatian support for EU integration I wouldn't be surprised at all if Brammertz called for a revision of verdict on 2 July and Gotovina's back in the Hague a week later :)

A grave miscarriage of Justice! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!!! The judges responsible for passing this verdict should be impeached! No wonder a majority of Serbians have lost faith in the whole concept of the EU.
2000 Serbians killed and more than 200.000 displaced and most of those a fighting for compensation for their lost property. This needs to be resolved and soon.

The americans have plenty of evidence (including a photo of who threw the bomb out of the window@Markale 1) but to release it would also condemn themselves. Germany is also supressing evidence but it still wants Croatia in the EU even though full cooperation with the ICTY and return of ethnicly cleansed serb was a condition.

Ummm.....wrong again Serge. It's not new evidence that is required, but rather a willingness to convict those who have the dirt on the axis of evil. What I fail to understand is how individuals who took up arms, as these two, did can be found innocent yet someone like Seselj who bared no arms continues to be tried. Call me simple Serge but then again I crap from the end God intended me to. Unlike you & your social elite.

According to Štrbac, the evidence could be the artillery logs that “Croatia has been hiding”.

And what is the likelihood of this NATO court, EU or US pressuring Croatia to release the artillery logs? Well, since they are all partners in crime, it is pretty much 0.
