You sound awful confident that the people involved will be held accountable, and may even suffer jail consequences. If they are, that speaks mightily for this here government that's willing to do that.
Corrupt politicians are a cancer that tears apart the fabric that holds a country together. A country with a high number of corrupt politicians and administrators is only a country in name. It can never be a prosperous and robust nation when it's being ripped apart from the inside by greedy, dishonest, political scoundrels involved in secret deals that keep their people in the dark. Corrupt politicians should be tried for treason for undermining and weakening a nation and thus creating a beggar nation for the foreign banks to suck the last drops of blood from the people they swore to protect. They are not patriots by any means, but number one enemies of the people.
