And to the ones who claim that these cemeteries have been neglected is because Serbs are afraid to visit them, you are trying to convnce the world that Serbs that will block highways and not let armed police, EULEX and Kfor pass but let Serbs pass, are afraid to visit a grave. Pretty pathetic attempt at propaganda, I say.

Pretty pathetic attempt at your propaganda, I say.

I ask you, where are the graves which are destroyed? Yep, in the Albanian part of Kosovo not the Serbian part.
Serbs block roads etc in the part where they are a majority. Serbs in your part are too afraid to speak up let alone block anything.

Even if these graves were in the Serbian part and were neglected because nobody visited, is this somehow seen as a green light by your people to destroy them?
How many of your graves are destroyed by Serbs? Don't bring up the war as an excuse, please. We are talking about now, years after the war.

I regularly go to the graves of my loved ones and can't even imagine that there are those who wouldn't hesitate to desecrate someones grave. Those who do this are the lowest kinds of people there are. They are nothing but filth and human trash!
(MikeC, 26 January 2013 16:20)
Wonder how you would feel if the graves of your loved ones was an unmarked grave of 10's or 100's of people, and you know not whether your loved ones were actually there or had been dug up and relocated to somewhere in Serbia?
I agree that individuals that desecrate graves are very low, but those who think that state sponsored mass burials are not worthy to lick the boots of the others.
The more pictures of cemeteries that have obviously been abandoned and neglected for years the less the propaganda works.

He stressed that it was “simply unbelievable that people have stooped so low to desecrate cemeteries”.

Unbelievable? No, not in Kosovo, it's done on a weekly base, at least.

Perhaps, given an opportunity to kill the entire Albanian population of Kosovo, Serbia will be really good at respecting their graves? Or will someone make sure that there will be no Albanian graves after such a happy event??

Serbs are protesting a bit much, methinks.

You can stop making baseless accusations.
How many Albanian graves are destroyed in Serbia even in retaliation to your lot destroying all of ours?
What, no Albanians live in Serbia so therefore there are no Albanian graves?

Ever thought about that it's stupid to compare times of war and times of peace?

albi,Trust me if the Serbs intent was to "kill the entire kosovo albanian ppopulation" they would have succeeded. The genocide argue is so weak when one considers that the total death on both sides was 10,000.

If a Jewish cemetary got desecrated anywhere in the world, we'd all be up in arms calling for justice - because it happens to Serbs, it's not of concern - not even in Europe. Something to think about.

This statement made is idiotic. It is words and not action, there is no admission of any failure, no action plan, no political penalties just philosophical musing. Its as if Europe does not even expect things to improve.

I am not so hateful of the separatists that I wish the lawlessness innocent people live with to continue. Reasonable Albanians can't say a thing in opposition to the crimes, they are shouted down. People pretend like they have no problems, the Pristina authorities pretend they are in charge and EULUX pretends it is doing its law and order job.

Right now, no one is in charge of Kosovo, and they are running out of Serbs to blame. When they murder or force out the last serb, they are going to turn on each other. Maybe even before then. Give them a year or two and they will be shooting at EULUX.

I have nothing good to say about vandals, but it is hypocritical for the Serbs to complain of vandalizing graves as the "lowest of the low".

He stressed that it was “simply unbelievable that people have stooped so low to desecrate cemeteries”.

Well, he should know that he's in then independent dream state of Kosovo, he should never expect any minimal standards in this rotten and corrupt society.

And how can he say that 'vandalism is condemned by the majority'? Even KPS officials supported, by their negligence, the vandalism against Serbian monuments.

No, the fact that it is tolerated, allowed and even respected when nationalist vandals destroy anything that is Serbian (may it be churches and monasteries, monuments, cemeteries or only houses that belong to Serbs) is rooted deep inside a big part of the Kosovo society.

Not enough!

These comments by the EU rep are too little and too late! Theses horrible actions have been going on for years, and the international community has done nothing!!!The entire world knows that these k-Albanians are murdering savages! You cannot reason on negotiate with them.

In 11 century this primitive nation was coming to the Balkan. In an entirely different environment and a higher degree of culture, hatred is used with base from two aspects. Family is not created on the basic budget, but due to creation of the differences in the standard of these primitives, they don't have any other option out to handle than to deal with the various manipulations on every level. Economic standard is very low, expanding Religion presure is to high high. combination of the both is today Kosovo problem for Serbian land.

Albanian and multi-ethnic dont belong in the same sentence. They can't get along and live amongst anyone. They cause issues everywhere they go. It's just not possible.

winston

pre 11 godina

Yes, what can one say about people that desecrate cemeteries? it is the lowest of the low. It is one thing to be a grave robber, and totally different thing to desecrate a cemetery out of pure hatred. Tombstones can be rebuilt, but the action of destroying them can do long lasting harm. I just do not understand what people want to accomplish by knocking down a headstone, what are they trying to say? Is it, "we don't want these people buried here"?

Bob

pre 11 godina

Don't be silly, it's not multiethnic - it's a monoethnic Albanian take over.

And get real. Albanians have been desecrating Serbian graves from long before Milosevic.

Just because Albanians say the don't approve, doesn't mean that they don't disapprove. Or if they do disapprove it is only because it suits their political purposes. Any Abanian who wants to socialise, trade or support Serbian neighbours is likely to be badly mistreated by other Albanians.

I believe in the idea of the EU, but I don't believe in this mythology.
