"Over 500,000 Slovaks vacation in Croatia every year and over a million Czechs but they probably don't even know where is Serbia. "
(Lenard, 22 January 2013 18:11)

Croatia is a nice country for summer vacation at the seaside, quick and easy to reach, nice shores. Why should anyone spend summer holidays in Serbia.

P.S. No reason to think other people are as ignorant as yourself :)

"There were a lot of Croats like Ivan Gasparovic "
@(luciano, 22 January 2013 23:45)
Every last name finish vith "ic", root is Serb.
Example: Petar Petrovic from Bar claim to be Albanian.(100yr.old state)
Petar Petrovic from BiH Croat or serb.( 20 yr old state)
Petar petrovic from Serbia Serb.(1700 old state.)
Please make your own opinion for Petar Petrovic.Thanks.

"There were a lot of Croats like Ivan Gasparovic who during the Austro-Hungarian era up until the present day thought and still think kindly of Serbs"

You need to be corrected here:

There were a lot of Croats like Ivan Gasparovic who during the Austro-Hungarian era up until 8th August 1928 Stjepan Radic was assassinated in Belgrade & then on 6th January 1929 King Alexander abolished the Constitution, prorogued the National Assembly and introduced a personal dictatorship. After this a number of Croatian politicians were murdered.....THAT my friend is where 'thinking kindly' ended & these acts assisted in the creation of the Ustase.

Interesting since the Slovak President is himself a Croat by ethnicity. Even Josipovic hasn't had the sand to meet with Nikolic yet. Good to see friendly relations between the two countries.

He doesn't have that many honors to give, since most of them recognized Kosovo.Unless he runs around Africa with one of those big card boards.
(Alex, 22 January 2013 13:50)

Somehow I doubt Kosovo was really the sticking point since we like to make nice with the Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, and France as well. But if we're going to play the "who are we going to give a large card to that supports us on Kosovo" game, we've got a few more: China, Russia, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Uruguay.

And that's before we get to Africa :)
