FM: World will not reject Kosovo Resolution

Belgrade will do its best in negotiations that as many ideas as possible from the Kosovo Resolution are accepted, preferably all of them, Ivan Mrkić has said.

"He reiterated that Serbia would say no to the EU if it was requested to recognize Kosovo’s independence at the end of its EU accession process."

Despite all the propaganda (most of the time coming from DSS), recognition has never been a condition for EU access. How should it be? You know 5 EU members don't recognize Kosovo as an independent state because they have a principled stance against unilateral secession by an ethnic minority.

But one thing is sure: When Serbia will join EU, it will be without the territory of Kosovo.

He's talking about third world. Poor countries, countries that support terrorism, countries that Serbs usually don't go to live, etc.

Serbia should explicitly grant Pristina autonomy for 200 years, then insist that all documentation refer to 'The Autonomous Province of Kosovo'.

I would not be surprised if Serbia is forced to accept Kosoa's Independence NOW and start EU talks on April 1, 2013.........APRIL FOOLS DAY HAHA

Really? What do you think you are going to get out of EU?

It's a good thing that it's not your signature that is required then.

I got some disturbing news for Serbian FM. Indonesia is thinking seriously on recognizing Kosova very soon.Time will tell, same goes for Egypt as Ivica has mentioned several days ago.

Personally, I would happily exchange KiM for EU membership - full membership, not some fool date to begin talking.

I have to laugh everytime a Serb gets on here and starts acting all macho. Telling the Albanians that if it weren't for Kfor they would kick their butt. Of course you have a formal military, more money and more soldiers. But you come off sounding like the bully in the school yard if your big brother were not here I would show you but I won't because in reality I am afraid of him.
But just remember that it is the knowledge that this is still the Serbian goal is the reason Kfor is going no where.

“....recognize this.... End of story.... a firm position we will not back down from by a single millimeter,” Mrkić pointed out.

Good Mr Diplomat!

Now tell us as one of the smartest brain in Serbia...why should the Kosovo Albanians give up something they have achieved with so much pain? Give us a clue as the one of the smartest Serbian brain why the overwhelming majority of EU countries revoke Kosovo independence...let's not say USA and other powerful countries in the planet earth. I am sure you understand that.
As you talk about international law....which country addressed to ICJ regarding the Kosovo independence? I know it was not you personally it was Jeremic the so-called the smartest Serbian brain...who did in fact shoot himself in the foot....

Serbia will be made to recognise Kosovo independence Mr Diplomat....and any "autonomy to north" envisaged in Nikolic's platform will dealt with the same "autonomy" for the Albanians living in Presevo, Bujanovc and Medvegja. Exactely the SAME RIGHTS.

END of the story...!

If is not a state, than try to enter Kosova without the permission from Kosova government. Kosovo
Mr./Mrs. Kosovo, please stop using that silly example. The Albanians in Kosovo are totally impotent without the backing of KFOR, and believe me, if that force was not present, Serbian politicians would not only be going back and forth to KiM, but sitting in political chairs in Pristina. Stop acting mighty while totally dependent on a foreign force. As for this "document", I agree, it is yet another political ploy to extend the Kosovo debate. It is political maneuvering, foot dragging, so that Belgrade does not have to admit the obvious. Because the obvious would throw their sorry behinds out of power. Personally, I would happily exchange KiM for EU membership - full membership, not some fool date to begin talking.

Jesus, EA, are you going to rant about "Serbia must recognize KiM" every day? You are the perennial broken record. Serbia will not be made to recognize an independent KiM, and by who? Believe me, there are diplomatic ways, with agreement from the EU/US, that will bring Serbia into the EU, without any recognition. Wait and see. As for ruling over the Albanians in KiM, I don't think there is one Serb in the world that would want that. The debate is about territory, sovereignty, and recognition.

Serbia, can pass a 1000 resolutions to satisfy herself? It won't have no kind of bearing on Kosova whatsoever! There's a resolution for you!

As for Serbian resolution, try to convince US diplomats, which have rejected already . Some have described it as worthless piece of paper.
