No country in the world can find every single person responsible for ever single criminal act
(Peggy, 16 January 2013 20:49)

Really ?! Seeing what's written in these forums about Kosovo I thought the above is the minimum expected...

I was not trying to ridicule... It's just that based on Serbs' comments about Kosovo in these forums I thought that countries are expected to find every single person responsible for ever single criminal act. So I don't see why a lower standard than that should be expected from Serbia.

If I didn't know better, I'd say you're all upset that the perpetrator didn't turn out to be Albanian :-)
(Nikolle, 17 January 2013 11:00)
================================

No we are not upset about that at all. No matter who the guilty party is we are happy that they are caught. But, how do you think this one man has been able to destroy so many graves over so many years all by himself?
What we are upset here is about someone lying to us big time. There is no way this is the work of only one man. This man is only a pacifier which doens't work.

He is taking the blame for everyone else. We want the guilty punished and we know that there is more of them so why are your keystone cops lying to us?

Even the most stupid Albanian should see that destroying or turning down dozens of tombstones for 'material gains' doesn't sound very credible. Wouldn't it make more sense to steal the tombstones if this would have been the intention?

I'm not even sure what "you" is supposed to mean for myself. What exactly is a 3/4 Bosniak & 1/4 Serb who lives in exile and who holds a German passport? Only my grandparents were a littlebit religious, but more in a folkloristic way. I consider myself an agnostic. So what am I? A German? The people in this country certainly don't think so. Am I a Yugoslav? Despite of some sentimentalism, I know very well that Yugoslavia's long gone.

I look at this in a positive way. One perpetrator against something Serbian in Kosovo is caught!!!
Let's hope it becomes a trend.
Good work KPS!!

The same goes for Serbs. Do you know how many war criminals walk freely in Serbia?

Geeeezzzz, you people make me sick with this cr@p over and over.
We are talking about the same crime against the same people and even their dead time and time again. This has nothing to do with criminals in Belgrade or their capture and punishment.
No country in the world can find every single person responsible for ever single criminal act but there has been so much of cemetery vandalism and hate crimes against the Serbs there and your keystone cops can only come up with ONE person who happens to be non Albanian.

C'mon, how busy was this one man?

Oh look...KPS found some innocent man to blame this on. Nice try. Nobody believes you. Have the man return the money you paid him to take the blame.

After it' been revealed that the suspect is an Ashkali that should prove that not all desecrators of Serb grave sites are ethnic Albanians.I say that because some or many b92 viewers tend to suspect ethnic Albanians when it comes to the desecration of Serb grave sites.

To some Serbs, even Serb criminals all of a sudden become Albanian when they get caught. Some just can't stomach the truth.

the Albanians´ excuses are getting more and more stupid... now it´s allegedly a non-albanian who desacrated solely serbian stones in order to make some money?

excuse me, are you Albanians really that stupid to think that anybody will believe that crap???

if so, it will be easier than I have expected to liberate KiM from your bloody hands.

"and what exactly were these "purely material" reasons that this perpetrator had in mind? If he was going to resell the marble, he would not knock down all the grave stones in the cemetery. This all sounds a little suspect. "

No, this sounds all perfect in the independent dream state of Kosovo. Just like stoning of Serbian cars is done by playing kids.

Amazing how KPS can determine the perpetrator of a crime within days if they aren't albanian. Crimes committed by albanians are never solved.

The arrested guy has been paid off to take the heat off the KPS and allow the true perpetrator to do more damage elsewhere at a later date. Some might say convenient this guy is ashkali others a stitch up.

Hey! As we all know, this has long tradition in former Yugoslavia: Blaming the gypsies is far easier than blaming anyone else. If you blame them, noone will ever complain. Antiziganism is unfortunately one of the few things even more common than homophobia in southeastern Europe.

Wonder if any Albanian cemeteries ever have their headstones over turned in Kosovo - for purely material reasons, of course?
