We can't tolerate Serbs sad atttempt to "defend" their abandoned relatives by lieing for them all the time.
============================
So tell me, how many of your relatives have abandoned you and moved to NY to make pizza?
Do you feel not loved? Do you feel abandoned? If you do then ask them to come back and hug you. It seems you need it.

So the Serbs on one hand say " be good , you have all the rights in the world inside Serbia"
Then the next second they say" get rid of them once and for all"

These Albanians must turn the page with Serbia. It will happen soon CIA says by 2050 but big bad mother Russia say by 2035. My money's says 2015 the latest.

Oh and NATO will have to join into any conflict cause by Serbia because if Albania helps their brethren it's come on come all with nato

Actually no. It seems to be something only Albanians do.
We don't need to go on your websites and spew venom. We don't care what you do on your own sites but it seems that you are obsessed with us.

Pls say it ain't so!!!

Just for one second, I’m not going to react or act upon the ignorant comments that are posted by ignorant folk on this site. Respect...

To be honest with you, I’m sympathetic with Demaci and what he went through as a result of Serbian oppression, 28 years in jail is no fun; but, I do not approve of him making these stupid statements as he’s not a full deck at this point. He should retire once and for all and stop making comments of this kind as they are just making things worse. My 2 cents…..

Be done with it Slick.

Pls say it ain't so!!!

Joke of a month! Are you drunk or something! Yeah we've been seen that "respect" since the 1998. We saw it especially in march 17th 2004. Aren't you at least ashamed when writing this ridiculous statements which you don't believe at all. I wish Serbs in Kosovo have the elementary right every Albanian in Serbia has, the right to live as every normal person in 21. century, not behind barbed wire in enclaves.

The entire kosovan-albanian society need to civilize itself at first.
(Bez_Cenzure, 16 January 2013 15:02)

Well, Mr. Bez Cenzure (whatever that means), that imaginary barbed wire that you are referring to, is the result of the stupid politics that your predecessors ran in Kosova for decades, so learn to live with it.

Pls say it ain't so!!!

Being agnostic is a great thing, I happen to be one, but keep one thing in mind, that 1/4-th of you killed thousands of 3/4s of you.

If you approve of that, by ‘God’, bless you!!!

I keep saying for years and years that ALL Serbs in the Balkans need to practice self-defense and survivalist measures - they can't count on their police and army, as these are usually tied up by agreements with the "international community" and/or a traitorous or lacking-in-leadership government.

Bob

pre 11 godina

The attempted udi is wrong. It should not have the support of the international community.

Albanians were driving Serbs out long before Milosevic came along.

The west took a bigoted view against Serbia not realising the wickednesses that were originating from Albanians were as much or more part of the problem than the wrong policies of Milosevic.

I would like to see the nature of the international support for the udi changed - in its current form it is a misrepresentation of the true situation, and is motivated by a complete misunderstanding what needs to change - both in Kosovo and in the rest of Serbia.

A separate country is a pathetic solution - it is going to continue to feed the notion of a greater Albania. The 1244 solution implied very strongly an agreed autonomy. That (under international protection) is still the solution that Serbia should be insisting on.

If the Albanians in Presevo did start a fight, Serbia should be allowed to take that fight wherever it goes - including into Kosovo if justified and necessary. The international community should not stand in the way of Serbia's right of defence, and if anything, should side militarily with Serbia on the matter. For that reason, I think it would be wise for the Albanian noise makers to mind their manners regarding further expansion of Albanian nationalism into other countries.

This guy Demaci is a piece of work. Albanians everywhere must be proud to have such a voice of reason representing them. I am not quite sure what he wants honestly. Does he want Albanians in the Presevo Valley to arm themselves, or the Albanians in Kosovo, or both? And who are they going to be shooting at, the Serbs in southern Serbia, or in Kosovo? Is this possibly all because of a memorial, a stone that is dedicated to his ethnic group that did shoot at and kill Serbs on Serbian soil? It probably would have been better by the media everywhere not to given this hot head a voice, and just ignore him. Does he actually believe that the international community, which has respectfully stayed out of this "memorial conflict", will stand by idly, or he hopes assist him, in waging another civil war in southern Serbia? The US/EU has invested a ton of money and effort in establishing and maintaining peace in Kosovo and southern Serbia, I do not think they will for one moment tolerate any BS from an Albanian nationalist bet on creating more havoc in that area.

Comm. Parrisson

He also advised Albanian leaders "to seek the same rights for themselves as those that Serbs have in Kosovo".

Wow. The same rights? He invites Serbs to vandalize cemeteries in Preshevo, stone buses with Albanians in it, steal and usurp their property and kill them if they dare to demand it back? He wants police to arrest Albanians for 'looking suspicious' and torture them in prison?

How can a person with a sane mind demand those things?

The demand is that they be given the same rights as Serbs in Kosovo," Demaci was quoted as saying.

LOL he's right about one thing: Serbs in Kosovo have "rights" no one else in the world has - or wants. Where else in Europe can a minority enjoy daily threats to their existence and ways of life? Where else in Europe does one wonder whether the church they plan to go to on Sunday won't be there? Or the graves of their loved ones simply vanish? Hell, where else in Europe does one have to wonder whether getting pulled over by the local police for whatever reason might result in an exorbitant fine or simply get one kicked in the genitals repeatedly? If this idiot wants similar rights for Albanians in Presevo as Serbs have in Kosovo, he better make sure he's ready to hear a number of complaints from locals regarding harassment by Serbian police and neighboring children throwing rocks and other assorted weapons :)

"While in Kosovo we were forced to give the Serb minority the rights nobody in the whole world has, Europe now seems to think that Serbs really are a heavenly people, while Albanians are some idiots who can live in slavery and without any rights. Albanians should organize on a national level, it should be known who is giving commands, they should be unanimous in their demands.

"While in Kosovo we were forced to give the Serb minority the rights nobody in the whole world has"

And what rights would that be? The right to get beat up or killer by the Kosovo police? The right to have the graveyards of your loved ones dececrated? The right to have your church set ablaze? You are right, no one in the world has rights like these.

Comm. Parrisson

pre 11 godina

He also advised Albanian leaders "to seek the same rights for themselves as those that Serbs have in Kosovo".

Wow. The same rights? He invites Serbs to vandalize cemeteries in Preshevo, stone buses with Albanians in it, steal and usurp their property and kill them if they dare to demand it back? He wants police to arrest Albanians for 'looking suspicious' and torture them in prison?

How can a person with a sane mind demand those things?

KOSOVA

pre 11 godina

Kosovo treats Serb minority with respect and dignity...there are however some small group of people here in Kosovo who do not treat Serbs fairly but that is changing. Most Albanians in Kosovo want peace and to get along with each other. Albanians and Serbs in most parts of Kosovo work side by side and there is no conflict. We Albanians and Serbs need to get along with each other and stop this hate...

winston

pre 11 godina

Steve B.

They really are a laughable bunch. Watch, if they actually do attack, they will be crying to the world for help again. I doubt anyone will fall for that again.

Serbia will not have a monument stand that is a memorial to terrorists. No country would ever let that happen on their soil. DEAL WITH IT!

Albanians are long overdue to be collectively bitch slapped. - Navi
You are correct, Navi, and someone like EA or Ben are exactly the ones that should do the bitch slapping to their brothers. They are from the West, or at least have a Western association, so they know Western ways. Albanians in Kosovo, and southern Serbia still behave like it is the 14th century. It is all about blood feuds and vandettas. Enough with this primitivism. EA and Ben, it is time for you and your like to stand up, and educate your Albanian brothers and sisters in the old country. Teach them the ways of democracy and the rule of law, democratic law, not the laws of the clan. It is in your hands, young Western Albanians, to change your societies in the Balkans, and bring them forward into the 21st century.

When I travel through Kosovo I use a hired car with a Macedonian license plate. Depending on the situation, I sometimes say I'm a Bosnian Muslim, a Serb or a Yugoslav. There were even situations where I pretended to be Croatian.

This says a lot about the absurd situation in Kosovo.
(Fikret, 16 January 2013 08:43)

lol. I hope you had your Dinamo shirt ready for the 'Croats'.

I am guessing going by your first name that you are Bosniak. I have never had any problems in Serbia given my own ethnic background. My neighbors and friends know who we are. Its been about 2 years since I have been to Kosovo to visit relatives but as you say, its a completely different ball game there in comparison to Novi Sad or Belgrade. You gotta watch what you say and do. Hell even North Mitro is like being in a parallel universe than the southern part. When I was there with my brother it did feel a tad bit intimidating especially one Saturday night we were drinking in a bar and watching the local Serb dudes outside revving their engines going up and down the street, doing u-turns at the bridge. Crazy stuff.

You are right! Far from all albanians are involved in intimidation and attacking the minoritets in Kosovo. But, looking at the few number of serbs in the south and the great number of crimes against serbs and their property the change you talk about is to slow. If there should be progress we need to look forward. Albanians have a tendency to keep refering to the Milosevic era. Albanians suffered, serbs suffered. Unless we find a way to change things our children will also suffer. I also know of serbs and albanians not having any problems with eachother, to bad that story is selldom told.
