The monument the Albanians have put up is not good, but presevo is 90% Albanian so who cares what kind of monuments they put up. As long as they stay quiet and don't do anything criminal like they did in 2001. I believe that when ever they get out of line again against the Serbian state thats when the monument could be brought down!!! Its just a matter of time, let the Albanians have their Plaque..... I personally don't care because of what would eventually happen to it If...............

There is many churches in Kosovo but they are left alone not to mention the many memorials that Serbs have in Kosovo.
(Heron, 12 January 2013 01:22)

Please mind that Kosovo is part of Serbia! In Netherlands there are memorials for Dutch soldiers. So why would that be different in the Serbian province of Kosovo?

But more important: both sides, please get over this nonsense!!

Albanians always build without permits lol and he does have a point about the law! I've offered one solution before which I won't go into but the law must be obeyed.

Poor Ivica, saying that the Albanians didn't follow the rules and didn't apply for permits so that's why this has to go.
So if they applied for a permit would it make any difference? Would Ivica have guts to deny it?
He seems to be such a weak leader. So let's say they apply for a permit now. Is he going to allow it? What is the outcome?
How come nobody noticed this being built and erected BEFORE it was up and permanent?
Why was it allowed to go up in the first place?

Ivica, have the guts and go there and have it removed or shut up. You know that Albanians will say a firm NO to it's removal. Why even play their game? I know, at least you will look reasonable because you asked for it's removal first. That is not going to matter because all the west will say is that you are persecuting the poor Albanians again.

Don't talk to the west. Talk to you friends and get their stamp of approval and then go in and tear it down.

Cause the major powers want a small fire in serbia & kosovo and in every country in the balkans to light a big fire when they need it! As far as serbs in the north kosovo they dont fear nothing , they put barricades cause belgrade tells them so!

"Yes Mike C , it belongs to them they can set it ablaze if they want!"

Heron

In that case why aren't they left alone? Why do they constantly have to block roads and fear for their lives? Presevo albanians don't want to be part of Serbia and serbs in nothern Kosovo don't want to be part of albanian dominated Kosovo. It's easy then yet so difficult for everyone to understand.

Well in that case the same should apply to serbs in north Kosovo? Their land so they can do what ever they want with it.

This is not a provocation Ivica , you know it and all Serbs know it. You do not scare anyone especially us ,Albanians who have endured the worst atrocities from your nation and your philosophy and we still stand with our head held high. As far as the monument I have said it before and I say it again; "COME DESTROY IT IF YOU WANT"! We have our god given right to live in our land and defend it and as you know it , a lot of us have died from your hands but we will fight till the last of us ,in any way ,shape or form to defend ourselves and our past. The public land in PRESHEVE belongs to the people that live in that community and they can vote to keep it or put it somewhere else and they are the ones deciding for their town not people in Belgrade. There is many churches in Kosovo but they are left alone not to mention the many memorials that Serbs have in Kosovo.

I think it should be moved to a more appropriated place, enough blood has been shed, and we don't need this kind of attention to our self, we don't have to become like serbs in the north. And it's funny how they call them terrorists, that in itself is provocative enough to me, and yeah i'm sorry you guys can't make monuments for your fallen soldiers. Now it is sad because some of them may have been good boys that were just following orders, and i feel sorry for their families, but they have to understand that they were the ones who were the attackers.

Serbia needs to feed its starving citizens and not worry about what the Albanian minority is doing.
(Bam Bam, 11 January 2013 22:29)

Why? You constantly obsess over what the Serb minority in Croatia is and isn't doing from your NDH trailer park in America.

Bam Bam, this monument is dedicated to people that killed Serbs, on Serbian land. It has no place on Serbian soil. Don't worry about how many meals a day Serbs are getting, probably as many as Albanians, it has nothing to do with this monument, which is an affront to every living Serb, anywhere. It must be moved, or destroyed.

"Do the Serbs really want to go down that path of a war with the Albanian people they can't win."

Bam Bam,

Mighty big words from you. You let readers understand that Albanians start war if memorial stone can't stay where it's now.

Shall we make a bet? I say that you personally have no guts and no balls to start anything. And therefore it's pretty immoral to suggest that others would do that for you.

The location of this terrorist shrine is nothing less then a provocation and a slap in the face to all those who lost family members to these criminals. I would approve this monument to serve as a public toilet, nothing else.
