Bosnia-Herzegovina “not in Serbs' best interest”

Survival of Bosnia-Herzegovina would not represent a political and historical interest of Bosnian Serbs, Republic of Srpska (RS) President Milorad Dodik says.

His comment about the International community 'failing' to keep a 'miniature Yugoslavia" (which it is not) together is ironic, because he is the very reason why progress cannot continue smoothly for all - it is his stubbornness as a juvenile politician that is getting in the way of proper socioeconomic advancements for all, as one.

Hypocrisy at it's finest.

Bosnia was not and is not a mini-Yugoslavia. The fact that there are 3 main constituent elements means it is a multi-cultural state. A mini Yugoslavia would have also Slovenes, Montenegrins, Macedonians, it would have a different constitutional base, military institutions, economic structure and demarked historical territoriality of its members. The comparison has a degree of truth in its federal structure but only in its politics not the underpinning geopolitical arrangements. Dodik's banging of the Yugoslav drum is to maintain the myth that people of different cultures can't live together.
RS, a monoethnic entity with delusions of international grandeur, rather would wallow in its current festering mess than negotiate a federal solution based on the rule of law, a bill of rights, veracity and integrity. Sooner hopefully than later the Bos Serbs will see they have been taken for a bloody ride that bleeds them dry. The only conflict to be resolved is that of conscience; something Dodik has yet to manifest.

Words are all good and well Dodik, but why not stop delaying and declare independence if these are your real thoughts? Plenty of Serbs are waiting so stop stalling.

Yes, RS should declare independence so we can finally liberate the rest that is occupied by old JNA.

"My role is to prevent the start of the process that would turn Serbs into a marginal minority that is dominated by the other national group in 10, 20 or 50 years", Dodik said.

So he relizes that their influence as well as identity is fading away, good riddence to RS, this will provoke peace in the region. Unless of course serbs start another war, which is not a good idea since there is not a very large power gap today, as compared to 1991. I think Dodik is just worried about his job.

“The only reason why Bosnia-Herzegovina did not end up the same as former Yugoslavia, which dissolved in the first half of 1990s is because the international factor still insists on irrational thesis that it would be possible to preserve something they used to call Yugoslavia in miniature, although they have failed to preserve the larger Yugoslavia," he pointed out. Serb delusions going strong as ever no one wanted preserve Serboslavia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pW_jwRXfB7A&feature=relmfu not even Montenegro only threatened by Greater Belgrade political criminal mafia. The only reason criminal Srpska entity aka Greater Serbia survives in the country of Bosnia the west tried a criminal experiment which they are regretting. Dodo don't forget Croatian and Bosnian parliaments never ratified the criminal Dayton accords or a war criminal Srpska entity so stop spreading BS. The only one that is disappearing is the "Srpska entity" aka grater fascist warmongering Serbia in the country of Bosnia.
