The only reason i wrote that is so you could hear yourself what you sound like. And thats the only reason i occasionally write "radical" things so you can hear yourselfs what it sounds like, but you dont get that, in reality if i could choose i would simply have put up a wall between Kosovo and serbia and never ever have to deal with you people again in any shape or form. Even though you hurt me where it hurts the most, by killing the ones closest to me i have absolutely no desire in doing the same to you, i will not lower myself to your level. No matter what you say, you are guilty of some horrific stuff, the evidence is out there easy accessible and overwhelming. I have absolutely nothing incomon with you or the likes of Ari Gold/Peggy etc, its clear where you get your inspiration, its coming from your own leaders. You constantly call us names like you always have done, i remember the name calling while your paramilitary had power in Kosovo its the same words same rhetoric. And i dont get it why paramilitary?? For years you strip all albanians of all firearms you only had defenseless civilians to deal with, and yet you call us cowards?? Haha. Stop convincing yourself that you are the good ones, you are far from that. There is so much more i would like to say to you but im out of space. / Nori

The monument is erected n memory of local people who fought against serbian army for the rights of albanians in Preshevo, not for albanian people from Albania and Kosovo. Those fallen are from Preshevo valley and serbian citizen, not from Albania and Kosovo.

(Mirel from Albania, 8 January 2013 20:46)

Do you realise how stupid this sounds?

You're basically saying that the Albanian terrorists who died were Serbian citizens and not for Albania or Kosovo...... so.... this is PRECISELY why we are getting rid of the monument. Serbian citizens cannot kill our Serbian officers and then be 'remembered' with a statue.

MikeC,

The link was showing a missing information from B92 regarding Ashton statement regarding the monument issue. For some technical reason ( I am not very IT person) the link went to homepage which was not my intention but a pure the headline Ashton also said that "The memorial (issue), competency of local authority" which I am pretty sure everyone with a bit of brain will understand it even in Albanian.

You guys are becoming paranoid about anything Albanian...kind full of Albanofobia.

If the Serbian leaders have an issue with it why they do not go to Presevo....and talk to the leaders there. Albanians living in Presevo, Bujanovc and Medvegja are "their own people" in that part of of the world....Instead the Serbian leadership show how strong they are...

There are many controversial monuments in Europe, Kosovo and Serbia....The monument belong to the history who none of us has the right to deny. We can have different interpretations though.

I have said and say it again. Albanians live in no one else's land, in their own land. It was not their choice to be divided in few different states, as it was not the choice let's of Serbs living in Bosnia-Hercegovina to live in that country. Capisci? Razumjesh? Verstanden?

Let's have a civilized conversation whether the monument(s) should or should not removed...rather than ultimatums.

I am pretty sure that Northen Irish have memorials of their heroes fallen against English.Do you think English gonverment shpuld start and tare down every statue and monument?
Albanians have the right to have the monument for their heroes, bacause of their esacrifice Albanians in Preshevo have some rights as minority.

You are one pathetic individual. Albanians keep provoking and when someone stands up to it they become the bad guys. You honestly think anyone believes your propaganda? You know very well that the monument is an insult to serbs, for obvious reasons, yet serbs are to blame for its removal? You just don't make any sense. And why do you link to a webpage in albanian? If you want to prove a point to us serbs then at least have the good tast to make the link understandable to the reader.

How pathetic you are EA beating the drums of war everyday on this worthless issue from your safe location in England. Mr. or Mrs. EA, I have a simple question for you. Please be honest in answering it, not biased, but honest. Would it be correct for the authorities in Pristina to take down a monument honoring killed and missing Serbian soldiers, that fought against KLA forces in Kosovo? These Serbian soldiers were someone's son, or husband, or father, why can they not be remembered by their loved ones? There are varying opinions about Kosovo's independence today, but the pure fact is, that Kosovo was a Serbian province in the 90's. These Serbian soldiers that were killed during the war, were doing their duty and protecting their land.

Nice link, Ben, if you can read Albanian. Is there an English version, since we are on an English speaking forum? Maybe it's just me, but what the hell does the EU have to say about what Serbia can and cannot do on its own land? Are you saying that Serbia does not have the right to take down a monument that praises its enemy? Would Albanians not have the right to take down a monument that praised the Serbian army, in Albania? I just don't follow your way of logic.
