1. As status neutral Eulex would NOT recognize Nikolic as president over Kosovo. Status neutral means do not recognize Kosovo as independent nor as a part of Serbia.
(think again, 6 January 2013 14:27)
=====================================
Maybe you should think again. If EULEX is neutral then they would not be asking Albanians to approve or not approve his visit for they do not recognise Albanians either. They would be asking the UN, the body which is in charge of Kosovo to approve or not to approve.
Can you not see the major flaw in your argument?

Wrong... in Serbs' English "neutral" means siding with Serbia :)

You don't ask for permission to go to any part of your country. He should've just gone there and if any problems arose from that, then it would make it international news. EULEX would have to declare that they are status neutral as per res 1244 and could not stop him.
Any Albanians dumb enough to shoot at him could never get away with it.
Nikolic should've forced their hand if he had any credibility or honour.
Nikolic should've by now demolished that eyesore in Presevo first and then attended Christmas in Gracanica.

Nikolle, where where? Do you not think that Nikolic's statement is correct? Why has Eulex not answered his request?
(ecoman, 4 January 2013 15:48
That is a simple answer, because it is not EULEX that makes those decisions, the same as it was not UNMIK before. They are only couriers because Serbia will not deal with the Kosovo govt directly. They take the request and fetch it over to the office in Pristina, Pristina makes a decision and then gives it back to Eulex and they deliver it to Serbia. No changes the way it has been done for many years now.
I guess Nikolic could go to the UNSC and appeal to them to let him in, I am sure he would get a unanimous yes, don't you??

For the sake of our children, for the sake of the future generations, lets strike a deal that suits both peoples and move on.

Let's build another monument, this time to the love between Serbs and Albanians. It can have the names of . . . . well, OK, there are no names yet, but there will be in a few centuries. All I can say, there will never be peace between these two peoples, never, and they do not want it. Why not just cut the cord at the Ibar, and dovidjenja? Fighting for N. KiM, is a losing battle. It is obviously for the resources there, not about a patch of land, but suck it up and let the Serbs be free of the entire stink. Serbs want nothing to do with Albanians, and vise-versa.

Lets remember what happened last year when Tadic was there for the Christmas holidays. Well, after he broke all asssurances to obtain from any political comments, it was clearly decided that that was the last time a Serb President would be allowed to come to Kosovo for the Christmas celebrations. Don't worry Nikolic, EULEX will be gone by Summer 2014, when the Kosovo Assembly decides not to extend EULEX's mandate. Then Nikolic can cut out the middle man and ask Pristina directly if he can enter Kosovo. But then again Nikolic won't be President of Serbia by summer 2014 as his and Dacic's government is very fragile.

Ian, UK, please stop acting tough. If all the internationals leave, Serbia comes back and reclaims its land in 24 hours. Drop on your knees and pray that Eulex, KFOR, and all the other foreign leeches never leave KiM, or an Albanian run KiM will be history. Srecan Bozic.

“Limitations of the freedom of movement represent a gross violation of basic human rights defined in the UN Charter and they are unacceptable from the aspect of civilization values that the EU advocates,” it is concluded in the release. LOL, says the guy who support road blockings. What a clown.

Lets remember what happened last year when Tadic was there for the Christmas holidays. Well, after he broke all asssurances to obtain from any political comments, it was clearly decided that that was the last time a Serb President would be allowed to come to Kosovo for the Christmas celebrations. Nicolic would do the same thing, or even worse. He would use it for his tirades, accusations, and for political reasons. For him it would be a demonstration of Serbia's power over Kosovo. Therefore it is fully understandable that the Kosova authorities dienied his request. Him spending Christmas in Kosovo and making any of his stupid comments would only complicate the situation. Well, what goes around, comes around ......

Yes, Ian is a Brit, like I am Swahili. Just another Albanian asylum seeker that landed in the EU, and is sucking on the EU tit of welfare. But the boy is all proud and tough talking about Kosovo, how the Albanians are all of a sudden a force to be dealt with. Like I said earlier, Ian, if all the internationals left tomorrow, who do you think would be in charge in KiM the next day? Kiss the EU asses every day, pray that Eulex stays, without them, Albanian run KiM is history. How about erecting another monument, this time to the EU and US, the real land grabbers in the Balkans?

Very simple my good man, would you wish EULEX not to be status neutral by attending church on your Christmas eve.

Is not that what Serbs are always complaining. You cannot have it both ways.

They are way ahead of you, Ecoman, Albanians are the only people erecting statues of politicians that no everyone in the universe (including unknown planets) despises, meters tall and in expensive high quality bronze.

Let me understand this: First Nikolic sends a request to Eulex. Then Eulex forwards the request to government in Prishtina. Then Thaqi sends back the request to EULEX. Then EULEX sends the message back to Nikolic.

F.....g idiots. If you learn to talk to each other and show respect for each other there is no need to go through a middle man. Both Serbs and Albanians have to sit down and say enough is enough. For the sake of our children, for the sake of the future generations, lets strike a deal that suits both peoples and move on.

Just wait until January 7th,when the terror memorial in Presevo will be demolished by hammering the UCK badge into pieces live on camera!

In Medvedja Albanians already plunged from 27 to 7%,in Bujanovac they plunged from 55 t o 45% and also in Presevo they are leaving for Kosovo...

Nikolic should attend Christmas in Bujanovac and the terror memorial should be brought down the same day!

Your delusion is funny, you have no control over Kosovo, rather your western puppeteers do.
(SCP UK, 4 January 2013 14:55)

That's exactly Kosovo's point... i.e. Serbia does not have control over Kosovo and thus Kosovo is independent from Serbia.

I'm proud to declare that I was the author who coined the term "clown(s)". It's such a fitting term, because it employs the message of exaggeration (esp when it comes to Belgrade officials and Kosovo).

Anybody here remember when I used to refer to then-"ministry of Kosovo" now "office of kosovo" as the PHANTOM minister / phantom ministry?

"Nikolić, according to the statement, expects the implementation of international regulations and UN Security Council Resolution 1244 to be ensured in the continuation of the Belgrade-Priština negotiations and especially to ensure safety of all citizens who reside in the territory of Kosovo, regardless of their ethnicity. "

Of course, everybody agrees with the above... Unfortunately Tomislav is not somebody who resides in the territory of Kosovo, but he can certainly apply for that and once he gets it EULEX will certainly ensure his freedom of movement in Kosovo.

2 MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH YOUR IDEAS.
1. As status neutral Eulex would NOT recognize Nikolic as president over Kosovo. Status neutral means do not recognize Kosovo as independent nor as a part of Serbia.
(think again, 6 January 2013 14:27)

Wrong... in Serbs' English "neutral" means siding with Serbia :)

2. Whether you wish to call Kosovo govt as provisional or final matters not per 1244 UNMK which Eulex is the official successor transferred all administrative responsibilities to the govt of Kosovo.
So EUlex is bound to support the decisions of the govt in Pristina without distinguishing whether these decisions are state, provincial, or protectorate directions.
But you are right if he showed up at the gate and was denied entrance this would have gained MORE international attention, than this. It would have reinforced to the world that Kosovo was independent of Serbian control.

=====================================
Maybe you should think again. If EULEX is neutral then they would not be asking Albanians to approve or not approve his visit for they do not recognise Albanians either. They would be asking the UN, the body which is in charge of Kosovo to approve or not to approve.
Can you not see the major flaw in your argument?
