How about discussing the customs deal that firmly indicated to all that Serbia recognizes Kosovo as an independent nation and that there is an international border between Kosovo and serbIA that Serbia embraces! Or that Serbia is going to send an ambassador to Kosovo soon. And goes to meetings where Kosovo has equal status to Serbia and is even present! All of which is in violation of serbia's constitution!

The foreign minister of the government in Pristina, Enver Hoxhaj, stated that they would insist that a liaison officer who should be sent to Belgrade "must enjoy diplomatic immunity".

Head of the Serbian Government's Office for Kosovo and Metohija Aleksandar Vulin responded by saying that any form of diplomatic status or immunity was "out of the question", and added:

"Liaison officers coming from Priština will be granted none of that."

Somebody please sms Vulin the link to WP article that states:

Diplomatic immunity is a form of legal immunity and a policy held between governments that ensures that diplomats are given safe passage and are considered not susceptible to lawsuit or prosecution under the host country's laws, although they can still be expelled.

I'm pretty confident that Kosovo's ambassador will accord diplomatic immunity from Serbia. How do I know? Clowns like vulin, bodanoviq, stefanoviq, etc -- all enjoy(ed) it when they entered and traveled through my country freely. I'm not saying tit-for-tat but the expectation from the international community (Pristina included) is and will be that Serbia will comply.

I expect these kind of talks between Kosovo and Serbia to finish really quick after the so-called Serbian platform initiative. From the start this so-called platform ask for special status/treatment of Serbs living in norther Kosovo and on the other side still rules out the formal recognition of Kosovo independence from Serbia....What is special about Serbs living in northern Kosovo and do not want to recognise Kosovo institutions and "unspecial" Albanians living in their territory in Presevo, Bujanovc and Medvegja and are part of Serbian institutional system. How hard is to see all these facts?
