Peggy,

I'd be making the same observations regardless of where I happened to live.

How about addressing my point.

How does anyone think that, in a country with the highest unemployment and lowest GDP in terms of PPP and already-abysmal productivity where foreign investors are withdrawing their money from their Serbia projects, starting a made-up holiday (secular holiday according to a religious calendar) actually help anything or anyone?

btw, if it make you feel better if I said something about Serbia once in a while, I'm really enjoying this gypsy brass band playing outside my window.

Totally ridiculous.

New Year's day isn't a religious holiday, so why make Jan 1 on the religious calendar a holiday?

Tell us Danilo, does anything Serbia does ever measure up to your standards?
I suggest you pack up your company and move it to a move favourable country which does measure up to your standards.

What's even more ridiculous is Serbs celebrating Dec 31st New Years Eve, and taking a day off on New Years Day January 1st - when they are so anti anything that isn't Serb like their calendar :)

And the icying on this cake, is many Serbs give presents on Dec 31st :D LOL

HYPOCRITES :D

You're just so full of information aren't you?
Thanks for this useless info. We don't have the other calendar but I am guessing you know that and just came here to sh*t stir.
What makes us hypocrites? The fact that we acknowledge and respect both calendars?
Get a life you useless being.

And the haters still roll in here... no matter the topic.

Confirmation that the Croat/Alb trolls in here have a serious inferiority complex towards us Serbs.

Serbian holidays in Serbia should be treated like any other holiday in any other country.
