Croatia has to fulfill its obligations. Croatia must return the property to Serbia and Serbian citizens. This is an obligation that Croatia took on that 'Serbia will insist.

So all Albanians need to do is to become followers of the Orthodox Church in Kosovo and that immediately will provide evidence that Albanians were in Kosovo since the 6-7th century. sj, I've said over and over again you are the best friend of Albanians in these forums and have excellent ideas for them so easy to implement.

If somebody would be there would be signs and findings of this made up illyrian culture, however there is nothing at all to prove your point. Why is everyone talking about preserving the serbian culture in Kosovo and not the albanian one? Because you don't have any. Not even Albania belongs to you. Even that is land taken from the greeks. Ancient Rome and Greece left their historical print on Albania and you just came and took over. Just like Kosovo.

Check Caucasian Albania...
In short Arabs conquer the Caucasus, in the 10 C they conquer Sicily and bring the people of the Caucasus and later the Byzantines reconquer Sicily and bring those people to the Balkans ---> Schiptares.
Slavs were in the Balkans from when the first people moved into Europe!

I include Illyrians as Slavs.
Why would Serbs themselves call their language Illyrian in bosnia 18/19th C
Why did Germans/French/Venetians etc call the Serbian language Illyrian?

Only northern Albania was part of Illyria, the central part was Macedonian and the southern part was of Epirus. And there lies Shkoder (north)a former Serbian capital..

In the 4 Turkish vilayets you were not even a majority: around 50% or less and that was 100 years ago.
The Turkish census of 1455 showed 98% Serbs in Kosovo.

Yes Serbia did not exist 1500 years ago because it was part of the Roman empire.

But before yea Herodotus called Slavs: Trachians
Same people but call themselves different today we have that too: Poles/Russians/Czechs etc.

That Slavs came in the 6th/7th C is BS!
Because this theory says that Slavs suddenly showed up in Germany/Central Europe/Balkans and Russia in the 6th/7th C and before that they lived somewhere in Belarus..
If you like greater Germany theories or something then this theory is good otherwise no!

We Slavs live on the lands where our ancestors lived 1000/2000/3000/4000 years ago!!

@Mike C...You are wrong in that UCK was supported by America and a proud NATO ally.
Also majority of civilian murdered by Serb forces were women and children.

For example when Army tanks and other heavy artillery was used to attack in the Adem Jashari compound majority or vicitims were once again elderly, women and children.

Why do you think NATO bombed Serbia?

The relationship between Serbs and Kosovo is analogous to Jews and the Holy Land. However, the true state of events more closely resembles the relationship between Orthodox Christians and Constantinople, today's Istanbul, i.e. the Holy Land in the hands of the enemy."

This whole issue between Kosova and Serbia is an economic one. Serbia makes an absolute killing in Kosovo from its exports... if the Kosovan market were to be shut to Serbia today I can guarantee you that there would be havoc and civil war in Serbia tomorrow! Many people would lose their jobs and many factories (think food produtcs, construction materials etc) would lose their clients and lifelines.

So far Serbia is in an economic state where it is importing goods from these two neighbors while Serbian imported goods are forbidden in both countries. "
(Avi, 28 December 2012 13:46)

Some more of these 'facts' presented by Avi. So: Imports from Serbia are forbidden in Croatia and Slovenia? Interesting. Strange that Serbia exports goods worth of some 100 millions to these two countries

here's a nice map: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/2009SerbianExports.PNG

And if you look closely, you will even see that Slovenia is not a neighbor country of Serbia, and you see which countries are most important for Serbian exports

So far Serbia is in an economic state where it is importing goods from these two neighbors while Serbian imported goods are forbidden in both countries. This is economically parasitic if you ask me. On the second hand, Slovenia even bought trademark rights on a very Serbian product: Slivovitz, or as they call it in the Balkans: rakia. Slovenians historically i.e. don't have any rakia manufacturing tradition. In Serbia every household distills its own stash. Its a tradition that never died and still exists today. Ask any slovenian if he makes his own brandy. I doubt that Slovenia's upshot EU brown nose laws would allow for such a thing.
