If you were a Serb in Croatia and the last memory of an independent croatian state you had was the nazi, genocidal state of Ante Pavelic and cardinal Stepinac, would you sit idly and accept to be a "citizen" in a new independent croatian state?

it would have been a lot better for the Serbs in Croatia to accept Croatian independence and become citizens of their new state. instead, they tried to break away using violence (the Banja Luka Republic expelled ALL Croats within its domain during its short lived tenure) and ended up as refugees in Kosova. I still remember them huddled inside Gotel Bozhur in Pristhina. I wonder it their venture was worth it in the end?

Yes, most of the killed were women. When it comes to Croat forces they did kill more women and civilians. Whereas their "victims" most all turn out to be army. The Serbs are accused of killing soldiers during the war, meanwhile the international community ignores the constant massacres of Serbs by Muslims and Croats throughout the wars.

And the job of the Croatian police is to prevent the perpetrators from being caught. It's been over 21 years.

Serbs in Croatia should have sat down idly, in thier place when Croatia declared independence... They had every right too! Serbia would not need to commemorate these Serbs,,that lost their lives for a fairy tale promise, that was promised to them by their own crooked & corupt politicians, back in Serbia ! Many of which, are still in power even to this day...
Long live, a strong Croatia!!!
