If you do this with Kosovo now, there is a question why not somewhere else, what about Bosnia-Herzegovina, border with Hungary, Bulgaria. Where will it end?

hmm, maybe the US government should have asked itself this question in 1990

Appreciate you, the CE of the B92 forums in person, taking the time and clarifying my perplexity. So the other sj was correct on the “Brussels having a serious cash flow problem” and thus wrong on the “Brussels picking up the tab” part. Thanks again for clarifying.

Sorry, I’m perplexed… Is Brussels “picking up the tab” or is “Brussels having a serious cash flow problem”? Which of the two is correct?

Which are you? Twiddle Dee or Twiddle Dumb? My little friend it does not take too much to perplex you.
You see this is not like the social security you get every week or month. This is much more complex as the EU is having a serious cash flow problem and that is why it’s cutting back on all non-essential expenditure to keep up paying for Kosovo and Bosnia but if you still have a problem I’ll try and draw you a picture with lots of nice colours and I’ll put in some balloons.

The Yankee Ambassador to Serbia needs to say that KOSOVO IS SERBIA
(Yet Another J S, 28 December 2012 10:13)

Oh, that's all you want... I, for one, can say immediately that KOSOVO IS SERBIA. Me or anybody else saying it does not change the fact that Kosovo is independent from Serbia, but, hey, if hearing KOSOVO IS SERBIA is a source of pleasure for you we can certainly give you that pleasure :)

it should be clear to everyone, especially the Albanians, that this us-american freak-creation on our soil will cease to exist, sooner or later.

the sooner the better, of course.

"He is right, but he only forgot to mention that this box is already open wide. How come? It was opened when the 'independent Kosovo' was allowed by the internationals. Kosova has never been a constitutional state within YU. And unlike the states he mentions above which have clear borders, Kosovo is not a recognized entity."

yep another erudite comment. "Kosova has never been a constitutional state within YU." why on Earth does this even matter? Perhaps you may want to read how it was that Kosova became a part of Serbia, it suyre as hell wasn't the peaceful way. "Kosovo is not a recognized entity." it is a recognized entity, just not by everyone. for you a state is one with UN membership, thats it. Lat week, Pakistan extended recognition, more and more are coming to this side every year

The Albanians do not have any legally acquired Land to trade, and Perhaps this might signal that America must MOST GRUDGINGLY and RELUCTANTLY and AGAINST EVERY FIBRE THEIR PUTRID MAFIA BEINGS to announce that the Kosovo Albanians will have to go Legitimate.

Backgammon is an interesting game where even if a Person is far behind, then he can win, and even if he loses he can inflict great damage to the opponent in the form of taking most of his backgammon pieces.

The backgammon game on Kosovo, the European Union, and The Hague, the Kumanovo Agreement, NATO, and other VILE, PUTRID, and EVIL Organizations controlled by Britain and AmericaThese will all prove that the Decent People of the World MUST and WILL boycott all Goods and Services from Britain, America, and Germany,

The Yankee Ambassador to Serbia needs to say that KOSOVO IS SERBIA, and that ALL DIFFERENT REGIONS OF KOSOVO WILL BE REINTEGRATED BACK INTO SERBIA, TO THE VARYING EXTENT THAT SERBIA WANTS IT, ON A REGION TO REGION BASIS.; otherwise, PACK YOUR BAGS and GO BACK TO YANKEELAND, as the signal that All Decent People Worldwide Must And Will Boycott All Goods And Services From Britain, America, and Germany.

LOL! The borders of Europe will continue to change because the box has already been opened. It is called the "Kosova"* precedent. Next will be the United Kingdom, Spain and Belgium. After that, the US may get a taste of some German medicine also.
(Zoran, 27 December 2012 13:49)

That’s great… it consolidates “Kosova”* independence with more precedents and more new countries which will recognize "Kosova"*. I know, it’s ungrateful not to care about the fate of countries like United Kingdom and Belgium which helped Kosovo become independent, but only naïve people think that there is love between countries – there are just temporary interests.
----------

I believe every word the US Ambassador states, but the problem is that it’s now Brussels that calls the shots since its picking up the tab for Kosovo and they are no longer as steadfast about Kosovo as they were in the past. Approximately $200 million per year just for transit fees alone, that is Serbia's piece. Not to mention more storage capacity, which will all attract industry and more investment. Bye the way, a good chunk of those transit fees will be paid to Serbia by our great 'friends' such as Croatia, Austria, and Hungary :).

With 51% flowing back to the main owners of the pipeline(you know who)another 25% landing into the pockets of your new anti-corruption politicians, and majority of the rest being spent on updates and maintenance Serbia should see about $1.95, where would you like the check sent?

That was 1999, it is now 2012, and everything has changed. The US is now a bankrupt nation relying on China for loans to pay their bills.

Russia is by far the most resource rich country on the planet, they've got everything that the world needs and wants in their soil. And they are our #1 allies, whom we have a free trade agreement with. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

No, these are the estimated RESOURCES located in these countries which are exploitable with a profit, it's not about current production/exploitation. But you are right, in the '70th and up to the '90th, Serbia(within YU) has been indeed a big producer of copper in Europe.

And sorry, I consider things mentioned in Wikipedia a lot more trustworthy than some unfounded claims written in the B92 forum.

you see, first the facts proposed are from wikipedia, second these facts account the exploited materials of the mentioned countries... Serbia cannot exploit the resources it has. There isnt enough funding, all the profit used from exploitation made by machines that are older than you and me put together times 2 is used for paying off large amounts of credit i.e. loans bought from the IMF and the EU. Bor is a small copper mining town in eastern Serbia. During the prime time of Yugoslavia it was the third largest exploiter of copper in the world. This is actually all that Serbia has to offer: Copious amounts of copper, silver and gold that foreign firms are simply waiting to exploit. Serbia must be brought to its knees in economic filth so that it will hand over these resources. This is why Serbia is still drowning in economic filth. It is a siege, don't you all see!!! There is more copper and gold in Serbia than in all of Europe and thats a fact!!!! Serbian domestic exploitation is being sabotaged economically with the low valued dinar in order to hinder the purchase of required state of the art equipment and other resources for exploitation.

Money and investment travel around the world. Military alliances can be developed without the need for shared borders.

'What would Uncle Vlad do ?? What did China when they got their embassy wiped out in downtown Belgrade ?? What ?? they did nothing !!'

'And as to South Stream, don't forget that you're only a transit country, like many others, you own nothing. nothing !!'

Approximately $200 million per year just for transit fees alone, that is Serbia's piece. Not to mention more storage capacity, which will all attract industry and more investment. But you have not answered why Serbia should join the EU. Serbia does not need to border Russia or China to receive support and investments from those countries. Does Israel take a policy its surroundings desire just because they are "in the Middle East"?? No. Why should Serbia back down to appease its neighbors? Nonsense.

Money and investment travel around the world. Military alliances can be developed without the need for shared borders. Politically allying Serbia with the West wont guarantee Western investments just as allying Serbia with other powers of the world would not close the country from private investments. You do not have a patent on capitalism and any country that has a leadership which takes seriously the need for economic expansion and battling corruption can do just fine.

Oh and I don't know who placed "the exchange of territories with Kosovo" on the table, but thanks for taking it off. Serbia does not need to exchange territories with other parts of Serbia. Integrity and patriotism above all.

Look at the second table: "Copper Reserves (thousands of tonnes)" Serbia doesn't figure there, either. Maybe that's why there's no foreign funding?

'Do you really think the US or NATO care about a few kilometers of pipeline through your territory ??'
You bet they do, that's why they've been trying to push the Nabucco project to reduce Russian influence in the region. Google it genius.

'What would Uncle Vlad do ?? What did China when they got their embassy wiped out in downtown Belgrade ?? What ?? they did nothing !!'

That was 1999, it is now 2012, and everything has changed. The US is now a bankrupt nation relying on China for loans to pay their bills.
http://www.usdebtclock.org/
Russia is by far the most resource rich country on the planet, they've got everything that the world needs and wants in their soil. And they are our #1 allies, whom we have a free trade agreement with. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

'And as to South Stream, don't forget that you're only a transit country, like many others, you own nothing. nothing !!'

Approximately $200 million per year just for transit fees alone, that is Serbia's piece. Not to mention more storage capacity, which will all attract industry and more investment. Bye the way, a good chunk of those transit fees will be paid to Serbia by our great 'friends' such as Croatia, Austria, and Hungary :).
Cheers!!

Where do you get 'many NATO countries'? It goes through one NATO country, Bulgaria, before it reaches Serbia, genius. And don't worry about Bulgaria, they switch sides all the time, they can be easily persuaded.
Cheers!!

With 51% flowing back to the main owners of the pipeline(you know who)another 25% landing into the pockets of your new anti-corruption politicians, and majority of the rest being spent on updates and maintenance Serbia should see about $1.95, where would you like the check sent?

Lat week, Pakistan extended recognition, more and more are coming to this side every year

only after the war Serbs from other parts of Kosovo as well as Serbia moved in the area and outnumbered Albanians,

Probably those Serbs from other parts of Kosovo were expelled from there by Albanians?

And I can hardly believe that Serbs from central Serbia settled in N.Mitrovica after 1999.

(Avi, 27 December 2012 17:26)

Id share with you some more details but im off work... maybe some other time...

Ask the US what it cost them to bomb the Chinese embassy – had they paid to build the new one with bricks of 24 carat gold it would have been cheaper.

If you do this with Kosovo now, there is a question why not somewhere else, what about Bosnia-Herzegovina, border with Hungary, Bulgaria. Where will it end?

hmm, maybe the US government should have asked itself this question in 1990
