What do the Americans think will happen once they leave?
The security force will become Taliban again.
The Yanks knows it, everyone knows it. The Yanks are there for as long as it's in their interest and once another part of the world catches their eye and there is more money to be made the will leave without a second thought for people they are leaving behind.

Knowing this, why would anyone be loyal to the Americans? I would bet that most of that security is loyal to the Taliban and only waiting to see the back of the Yanks.
