Long lines at border crossings as holiday getaways begin

That is because Pristina is making life difficult for serbs. Serbs are allowing albs to pass without problems while your druglord leaders are making things even more difficult for serbs. Can't believe you didn't know the answere to that question already.

I don't think you understood what I wrote. It is the Serbian authorities side causing these long lines as far 7 km. Is not Kosova authorities. Check your spelling before you post.

The wait time at the Horgoš border crossing is about five hours while vehicles wait around seven hours to enter Serbia at the Batrovci crossing.

Same thing is happening between Serbia and Kosova. On Serbian side you have to wait 7-8 hrs, yet on Kosova side entering Serbia, you have to wait from 30-50 minutes. Why is that?

Now here's an outstanding business opportunity - open a restaurant/motel/movie theater and offer patrons a driver to wait in the car as it inches its way up to the actual crossing point, at which point the owner will be ferried to his car (by motorcycle sidecar? the details still need to be worked out) and just drive through. Just think what it would do for the employment figures - the restaurants/motels/movie theaters would be packed, and students would vie for the driver jobs, since they would provide lots of time to study for exams.

Of course, there's always a chance that the government will decide at some point to routinely increase staffing around the holidays and shorten wait times ... Nah, it's probably safe - why would they change after all these years, when nobody complains?

Look at what you are writing. If can read that is! How can serb prevent anyone from entering a territory Serbia see as its own? No problems for albanians entering Serbia! This means no one is stopping you from entering, comprende? However, serbs are prevented from entering Kosovo. That's what happens when you learn to write in prison.
