When I read "spare us rubbish" I realize what we are dealing with. Kosovo has been Serbia for decades. The Albanians were invited in by Serbians. There are religious places there. That is why it is important to Serbs. For that reason Serbia will own Kosovo. As for the Albanians you are welcome there but do not try to take it from Serbia. As for the rude one who thinks he has a brain and no one else does....go back to school and get an education. I have nothing against Albanians, God bless them, but Serbia will always have Kosovo.

Maybe you should read the transcripts of the UNSC before they passed UNSC 1244 when Milosevic was begging them not to as it would destroy Yugoslavia!

Here is a dictionary definition of the word 'interim':

"An interval of time between one event, process, or period and another."

Here are some Synonyms of the word 'interim':

acting, ,caretaker, improvised, intervening, makeshift, temporary, provisional.

Here are some Antonyms of the word 'interim':

continual, permanent, lasting.

The word "interim" is the key word in UNSCR 1244 as it means temporary and not permanent.

Excerpt from Un1244 text:

A political process towards the establishment of an interim political
framework agreement providing for a substantial self-government for
Kosovo, taking full account of the Rambouillet accords and the
--- principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Federal
Republic of Yugoslavia --- and the other countries of the region, and the
demilitarization of the KLA;

This is the key sentence, the territorial integrity of the FRY (Serbia is its successor state) is guranateed by UN1244,therefore all imposed solutions contrary to it are null and void!

One could also say that even UN1244 is null and void because it was the result of a war of aggression witout any UN aprroval, thererfore the only void document would be the constitution of the FRY which clearly states Kosovo as a part of Serbia!

As for the UN General assembly thing, look what your ally had to say about Palestine:

http://cnsnews.com/news/article/susan-rice-un-vote-does-not-establish-palestine-state

You will sooner or later have to come to terms that Kosovo will never become an independent state,I know it frustrates you but the international community simply won`t accept this robbery of Serb territory!

And what is especially amusing, because of this some Western countries are going to disintegrate cause they let the ghost out of the bottle:

(Scotland ,Catalonia referendums)

Thanks god Slobo wrestled Un1244,he was a great statesmen !

That is not in the UNSCR 1244 I read.

http://www.un.org/docs/scres/1999/sc99.htm

Nowhere in 1244 does it state that the final settlement for Kosovo have to be adopted by the UN Security Council. It doesn't even say that FR Yugoslavia and Kosovo have to both agree on Kosovo's final status.

When Serbia tried to unilaterally finalise Kosovo's status with their 2006 Constitution (not a single person was given a say on this, nor was the 2006 constitution carried out in Kosovo) this gave Kosovo no choice other than independence. 1244 doesn't say this isn't permitted.

And no, UNSCR 1244 does not clearly say that Kosovo is still part of Serbia today 24th December 2012. It says that Kosovo is to be a sovereign part of FR Yugoslavia whilst under UN administration whilst Kosovo's final status is established. 1244 is by no means a permanent guarantee of sovereignty over Kosovo.

When Kosovo does what Palestine did and becomes a UN Observer State (which Russia and China can't veto), the UN will officially no longer consider Kosovo to be apart of Serbia. There is a whole bunch of other Organisations that Kosovo can join without being vetoed.

Russia and China have failed. All they have achieved is slowing down Kosovo's acceptance on the International Arena, not preventing it, nor have they prevented Kosovo from becoming a state.

Are these things going to happen today or tomorrow, no, but they will happen.
(pss, 24 December 2012 13:39)

Thats what you are talking about the last 14 years:

Result : nothing!

Russia ,China will never allow our southern province to become statehood and Serbia will never let go of it!
It is enshrined into our constitution!

Second,if Eu says Kosovo or EU we will end EU integrations!
And we mean it,i know you Albanians, desperate as you are, think that because we Serbs want to talk about rights for Serbs in Kosovo we will somwhow let go of Kosovo being a part of Serbia!
Again,not going to happen!

The point is this :

the West is declining while the East is surging and will be controlling Europe and the world politically, demographically, militarily and economically and the support of the West you Albanians enjoy will erode over time!

We Serbs know that and that is what our strategy is based upon!

“This should be a subject of talks with Priština and not the status that was decided in a political process envisaged by the UN Security Council Resolution 1244,” he was quoted as saying.

1000 lies do not make one truth!
Un1244 envisaged a settlement of the status in negotiations that has to be adopted by the UN Security Council in a vote!

That didn`t happen because Russia would veto it,and that is why Kosovo is still part of Serbia according to the UN resolution 1244 which clearly says so!
We Serbs are no dummies not to know what stands in this resolution!

The Albanians were there before the Serbs conquered and expanded their Kingdom in 1912. Serbian sources show that at least 75% of Kosovo was Albanian in 1912. This is what happens when you conquer, forcibly rule, deny rights over and oppress a land inhabited by foreign people. Pretty much colonialism.

Sometimes you have to face the facts and think rationally, not with emotion, not with false hope, but realistically assess the situation, it's obvious even to myself as a Serb that Kosovo is a lost cause, and will never again be what it was. This should not and cannot be viewed as a victory for the Albanians, they cannot win anything from Serbia's loss.
Kosovo becoming a NATO member?- Never!
Kosovo becoming an EU member?- Never!
Kosovo becoming a member of U.N?- Never!
Kosovo being at least some sort of self sustaining, prosperous, succesfully self governing nation- Never!(and that's purely because of the Albanians poorly managed and corrupt leadership, let alone the thorn that Serbia will always be)
Kosovo being governed by Belgrade again?- Sadly, also Never!
We will never see Serbia's army roam through Kosovo, or even a Serbian civilian walk alone safely through the province, BUT
as Long as Serbia as a republic exists, that existance alone is a guarentee that Kosovo will never be an official member of any organisation that its not a member of today, and thats their best case scenario. Serbia will rebuild, it has overcome and outlasted worse times, it will move forward, modernise and attract business with it's existing friends, and also with it's eager former foes.
Serbia has learned from the past and will grow and advance, and it will always have the final say, whether they control Kosovo or not, they will forever be in a position to keep Kosovo in limbo.

Not so confusing. This happens if you wage a war and try to expel people of another ethnicity who were living there.

How can Kosovo, known to belong to Serbia be taken by a people who were welcomed to come in and build their lives there.Does that mean I am sorry I do not know Germany, but can a group of people come in and declare a part of German theirs? How about Texas, California, New Mexico? Is it because Serbia is just a few millions and located in the Balkans. I for one think Serbia is in the right.

I would make negotiations damn near impossible, what has Serbia to gain by relinquishing its historic land, to suit others? Not so confusing. This happens if you wage a war and try to expel people of another ethnicity who were living there. And yes, it happened to Germans too, after WW2, millions were expelled and had to leave their homes where they were living for 100s of years. Btw, this includes regions which are part of Serbia, nowadays.

What difference does my name make!

pre 11 godina

Thats realism!!

A very appropriate name. When the message is inaccurate, insignificant, and simple ramblings based on personal hopes and not facts, what difference does the name make?
Kosovo is progressing in its acceptance in the world and will continue to do so. It has a majority of recognitions in all those arenas, the trend will continue. For Serbia to progress it will have to remove its resistance, once that is done NO country in the world will have a reason to block Kosovo.
