Number of road crash victims "equals population of one town"

Instead of doing what Dacic does best - using an issue to promote himself, Dacic might have actually used this opportunity to unveil some new policies to reduce the number of accidents on the roads.

Who cares if people are annoyed by being stopped or not? How about upgrading the quality of roads so people do not drift into the oncoming traffic lane to avoid potholes? How about a brutal advertising campaign filled with family loss concerning drunk driving? How about a slight increase in the pay of traffic police duties, coupled with drastic increase in punishments for the police accepting bribes?

Its not rocket science, there are always solutions to problems. Problem is that Dacic hasn't the will to do this.

Just make safer roads, dual carriageways instead of single lane roads.
The new ring road around Belgrade is a disgrace that it is a two way road.
That and the overloaded trucks that go so slow that everyone has to take their life in their hands to overtake them.

I would not put any import duty and VAT to all cars which made with California / New York emissions and received at least four stars in NHTSA crash test.... and BAN every other car, no mercy.

But of course, why would a politician understand all that. It's easier to put five more cops with cheap, badly designed radar into "revenue service" than think with the brain. His brain is made only to sneak around politics, a perfect snake-partner of an other "Snake"
