Western Hypocrisy !.

Sovjet was promised that NATO would not expand,
if Sovjet left Central Europe.
A Fake promise by the West.

Russia's true relationship lies with their brothers is Central Asia, not with us Slavs.
(I am a Serb, a Croat, and a Muslim, 20 December 2012, 00:50)

What I was meant to say was: "Kazakhstan's true relationship lies with their brothers is Central Asia, not with us Slavs."

I accidently wrote 'Russia' instead of 'Kazakhstan' in my previous comment. That sentence should make more sense now.

Russia is not a democratic country. Who would want to live under Russian influence?

There is no need for Soviet Empire, sufficiently large Russian Empire does serve the purpose. The bigger, the better - but it's never big enough.

I self-promoted myself to Yesaul status, just to make Albanians here happy.

Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus (and eventually Serbia too) are all very similar countries and can complement each other in such a union.
(Ari Gold, 19 December 2012, 20:07)

I'm guessing you've never been to both Serbia and Kazakhstan? If you had been to both, you would know how both are very culturally, politically, religiously, socially and economically different.

Did you know that Astana is a purpose built Capital City, constructed in 1999 to counter Russian influence in the North of the country? Russians have colonized Kazakhstan throughout history, hence the Russian-ness in Kazakhstan.

The only thing Russians and Kazakhs have in common, is that they both suffered the disease called communism.

Russia's true relationship lies with their brothers is Central Asia, not with us Slavs.

I still find it funny how an American on the other side of the world tries to tell us on the opposite side of the world how to live and who to live with. He or she really is a true American.

The United States is naive, aggressive and ruled by fear. The American Empire will not tolerate any rival powers. This American mindset poses a real danger to the world.

Russia's plan for a Eurasian union would interfere with US plans for domination of Eurasia, a plan they have been working on for the last 20-30 years. The notion is that the one who controls Eurasia, controls two continents, Europe and Asia and therefore effectively controls the world. Cause Eurasia is where all the oil and gas is to sell to these two continents. And US control over oil and gas keeps the petrodollar going. Without, the dollar is toast and so then is the US. Expect conflicts there.

Ari Gold

The Eurasian Union has nothing to do with the Soviet Union. Quite the irony actually, because it is the EU that is currently going through a 'Sovietization' with its un-electable ruling class, occupation of other countries (Serbia), and its collapse will also mimic the Soviet Union's.

The Eurasian Union will work because these countries already have a very similar economy but also a similar culture & society. You can't possibly put Germany and Greece in the same union and expect prosperity for all. Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus (and eventually Serbia too) are all very similar countries and can complement each other in such a union.

It's a shame the EU has to occupy the word 'European' seeing as Slavs are the largest European ethnic group but this EU will eventually and easily in our lifetime collapse or at the very least fragment into smaller parts. The Eurasian Union will live on.

Russia, and not Serbia, is the real target of NATO aggression.

Russia needs friends and so this is the perfect time for Serbia to join the new EU (Eurasian Union).

With radar stations in Serbia in southern Europe and in Kaliningrad in northern Europe, Moscow could monitor NATO activity across the whole of central Europe.

If Serbia helps defend Russia, then real benefits will come its way. It will enjoy a greater level of security under Russian protection. It will have greater energy security with guaranteed supplies of Russian gas and fuel. And it will have free access to the markets of Russia and the rest of the Eurasian Union.

Compare this future with that offered by Berlin, Paris and London.

Joining the failed western EU will lead to national bankruptcy, like in Greece, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, etc. It will lead to further depopulation as the young leave to work as cleaners and labourers in the west. And it will lead to mass Third World immigration into a depopulated Serbia. Within 30 years of joining the western EU Serbs will be a minority in their own country.

Putin has described the existing economic and security groupings as precursors to a stronger Eurasian Union, which he pledged to form by 2015.

Zoran, your name suggests that you might be Serbian? If so, why hasn't Serbia also joined this Eurasian pact ? What the hell are they waiting for? I think, your Serbia clearly sees that it has no future with anything other then the EU! So please stop all the, you'll see this & you'll see that! If its so good, just join the thing! As for Albania & Kosova, where shooting strait for eventual EU membership! Hopefully sooner then later. And I already know we have some work ahead of us, but with the help of the good old USA, we will be there a lot sooner then are frm enemies would like!
