I have doubts about any Latino-Hispanic people of Mexican origin living in prosporous Texas, Arizona or similar places wanting to return to poverty in a third world banana republic like Mexico. Its more likely that Californians in Bahia wanting to join their prosporous northern relatives. The same goes for Sonora, that also briefly was part of the US.
People on the other end of the US, in the northern part of the federation, have a much stronger incentive and powerful motivation for secession. It is far much more lucrative for people in Vermont, and other Northern states to join Canada, the only truely modern welfare state on the entire American continent.

"What about Mexican people in parts of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California? Do they deserve independence from the United States? Even possibly unite that region with Mexico?"

Yes, absolutely!

Funny how much more interested Serbs are in seeing parts of the U.S. go to Mexico than Mexicans living there are. What they most want is U.S. citizenship.

Good one Steve!! I did read a while ago that there is a grassroots movement merging in that direction. Most of those states, if not all of them, were a part of Mexico before the imperialists did their thing.

You claim that RS is made out of genocide?
What is kosovo then?
After each census the % Serb, Roma, Gorani and others drop and Albanian rise.. Ethnic Serbian villages are no more in the Drenica region, Djakovica region, Kacanik region that was 20 years ago and now in almost whole southern Kosovo no more Serbs 25k according to the Kosovo census isn't that genocide?
The situation in Bosnia is stupid the Serbs of Bosnia are to blame!
I say that as a Serbian.
In the 1948 census there were 1.1 Mil Serbs in Bosnia 45%
and 43 years later 1.3 Mil..
Croats same problem from 600 k to 750 k
While the ex Serbian and ex croat Muslims --> Yugoslavs--> Muslim by Nationality --> Bosnjaks went from 700 k to 1.9 mil...

Let's see how it will go with Catalonia, I wish the best to the people let them decide.

Well if that is what the majority truly want, why should they be denied? However I there is a lot of none Mexican people in them states, who account for the majority and don't want to be independent/ apart of Mexico. But if there was a referendum and they voted to united with Mexico, I would of course support them; but I doubt that would happen.

No. Republika Srpska is the result of genocide. That can't be rewarded.

What country isn't to some degree or another? By your rationale, Germany, Croatia, Turkey, the United States ... and Kosovo shouldn't exist either.

If the majority of people say yes to independence then I will support them in their quest for independence. There has been an independence movement in Catalonia for hundreds of years, if independence is what they truly want, then they shouldn't be denied it. The same applies to Scotland. I will support the will of the people.

RS is allready independent only not oficially. I went to Banja Luka last year and Serbian flags everywhere. Nothing that reminded me of muslims or croats. It was just like heaven.

Yes including the RS, I've said this before; Bosnia won't exist in it's current form forever because the people don't want it to. However I don't think the RS will become independent, I think it (at least most of it) will more likely unite with Serbia; it makes more sense.

The EU seems to think that Bosnia will be saved if it joins the EU, but as we can see with Spain that you can break up whilst being in the EU.

Bosnia is a lost cause, the sooner the people can accept that sooner they can move on with their lives; instead of living together in an artificial state where everyone points the finger at each other complaining about who did what to whom in the 1990s and how many times worses.
