I get the sense that people in Europe are long past caring what the EU bureaucrats are saying or doing.They talk, they waste money, they go round and round and achieve nothing apart from polishing each other's egos.They paper few cracks here and there until one or more of the fundamental problems surfaces again.Pointless austerity seems to carry on destroying economies ,the workers, the poor, the unemployed, the pensioners will all pay the price of rising unemployment, failed social systems and rising crime,whilst these technocrats just cannot admit that the system is broke and it cannot be fixed.Simply,there is no cure.

I do sense that after the German elections in May 2013 Merkel may feel emboldened to tell her electorate the bad news.

According to all western and world military command today, Serbia was never broken at all. Serbia lost a few dozens of military tanks, Migs and some personell because they had an enormous amount of military skills, for example phony targets that Nato bombed with missiles costing a total of 100 millions of dollars. For what does people ask themself today?
This was probably the most shameful and disgraceful war Nato have ever fought.
Thats why no one, and I mean no one is talking about it today. The feel ashamed.
The international community have pumped in billions of dollars to the black hole called Kosovo and not much has changed at all.
Corruption and organized crime is everywhere, K Albanian are extremely bad seen i western europe, Kosovo will never (and can never) be a part of EU even if some think so.

Nothing has changed since the conflict and Serbia is doing just fine.

A solution to this crisis would necessarily imply further integration, which is NOT an option because of France and the UK.

There will be some further "measures" but, as always, to few and too late.
Let's hope that the decline of the EU will not drag on for years and years!

Of course 28 mil is a drop in the bucket compared to what the Chinese have in their humongous currency reserves. I have told you several times before, March of 2004 Serbians showed they have no guts to step a foot inside Kosova by force they know better. Albanians did what they should have done in 1999 idk why they delayed all that great stuff until 2004. We know Serbia cannot afford wars which they did on the expense of all of former republics of Yugoslavia. Now all that has come to an end.

@MikeC lol if Serbia is so strong and fought the worlds toughest military as you claim, which we both know Germany alone could have then and most definitely now wipe out Serbia before you know it. Serbia was once strong because of the hard work of other republics of Yugoslavia.
