The EU should accept no more members until current problems are resolved .
There should also be referendums in all countries to stay or not within the EU ,this cannot be left to politicians. Also the following should be addressed

Inexcusable Anomalies

The EU is no more wasteful than most of its member governments. Union administration soaks up only 6 percent of the EU budget. However, if governments are being asked to reform, the EU should, too. Anomalies remain that are inexcusable at a time when Greek health-care services are being cut to the bone in the name of austerity. For example, the European Parliament still spends roughly 180 million euros a year maintaining a second, purposeless home in Strasbourg, France, to which the 754 members of Parliament, their aides and documents have to decamp for one week in every month.

The EU Commission is unelected and therefore the system is undemocratic , also the role of the ECB , IMF etc have to be clarified , the CEO'sf these institutions are unelected and unaccountable .

@Mr. Branko.......if you truly are a Serb I personaly want to thank you for your honest and realistic view of Serbia and her past doomed policies.

If more Serbs were as enightened their might stand a better chance of peace and stability.

I dunno...any faster and i'll go out the door. The Italians seem to be doing alright, how many prime ministers have they had since the last war? Quite fast!

"Serbia could play a key role in the stabilization of the Balkans" -- yes, only when we truly give up our ridiculous superiority complex (which is the same thing as an inferiority complex -- and based on what, the relative size of a shrinking Serbia?) and honestly admit to our roles in wars in the ex-Yugosphere. There are still too many Serbian war criminals who have gone unpunished for their crimes in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo!!
