"The unthinkable has happened in Serbia," says a cabinet minister, as a man who, many believed, was powerful enough to appoint governments, is now behind bars.

They only arrested a high profile person so it looks good to the EU. He'll be back at his office before you know it. That's what i mean by 360- in and out, but some of you may prefer 180?

The worst kind of citizen is the one who steels from his own people. There should be no tolerance for any such man. Glad to see Serbia rounding them up and teaching the rest what will happen if they do these types of disgusting crimes.

A glimmer of hope to people who are in the dumps may be a better living standard, a labour market with available jobs and the rule of law.But they welcome the struggle against corruption. It is notorious that a majority of the Serbian businessmen and politicians do not abide by the law. The businessman Mishkovic, who exerted his influence and power by tossing each investigation notice into waste-paper basket, who was also involved into influence-peddling, has eventually been exposed as a fraud and law-breaker. He has been grounded ( detained) at last. What is peculiar is that EU insisted on the investigation of some unlawful privatizations. But I cannot understand the hypocrisy of the EU. The former manager and the owner of the chain of supermarkets, C-Marker, Slobodan Radulovic, was suspected of committing an unlawful transaction with Mishkovic with the blessing of the former PM Kostunica and vice PM Labus. Radulovic fled Serbia and his whereabouts is in Spain. Serbia issued an arrest warrant by Interpol, but Spain denied an extradition warrant, though it is a member of EU. If Marko Mishkovic had flown to London,as he intended, I doubt that he would be extradited to Serbia.

Of course it is, otherwise Pivot turn aka Pirouette would not exist., and move is usually very impressive.. Marcin Klaban got rich doing 360 panorama a day., that is turning point- no doubt. Turn grinder 360 and pasta is already tasty, of course it's turning point. Next 360 example would be sexual and dangerously acrobatic, don't bother with that..

The greedy communists couldnt get a loan for this week, so they robbed their own citizens to scare the other tax dodgers?

Lenin used to shoot around 100K peasants just to get the others attention. Lets see private sector disappear from red Serbia.

I agree Serbia is ran by closet commies but Miskovic is a criminal and along with MANY others, should be locked up and his wealth confiscated. You simply cannot become a billionaire in Serbia during war time in any moral or legal way. He is most certainly a criminal and I truly don't believe he will be locked away for long because he holds too many skeletons in the closet that would indict half of the political class if not more.

But regardless, you defending this criminal shows how deranged you are. He should be in jail. Not because of how much wealth he has, but how he got it.
