Corruption "threat to national security", official warns

Serbian Interior Ministry State Secretary Vladimir Božović says corruption has reached such a high level in Serbia that it poses a threat to national security.

The first step in minimizing the securtity issue corruption poses is to clear the police from corrupt elements. This is necessary in order to initiate an effective struggle to correct the fallacies that characterize the Serbian society.

Seeing in Belgrade youth gangs clashing with eachother, mobsters behaving as if they own the streets… corruption already is a extremelly dangerous security issue.

To say the least, corruption has the potential to provoke social clashes and finally provoke a „Serbian spring“. Corruption should be an alert for the politicians they are doing a bad job and have to change their methods immediatly if they sincerelly want to prevent and revolts.

Indeed, so first slash the number of MP's from 250 to 125 max. Then cut the number of govt agencies/ministries to 10 max. And that will be a good to start to "thinning the heard"...
