U.S. recognizes Syrian opposition

I am not surprised by the yanks recognising the Islamists as the legal representative of the Syrians.The Islamists have been doing the dirty work for the CIA for few years now and they will continue to do so.I am still not sure how the Syrian war is going to end.

U.S. President Barack Obama has stated that Washington has recognized the Syrian Opposition Council (SOC) as a legitimate representative of the Syrian people.

It's laughable to think that legitimacy of the Syrian government is derived from the US corporate fascists and not from the Syrian population.All we learn from the above statement by the US is that it has become convenient to US interests to make this announcement at this time.They've come to this decision knowing pretty well that all previous lies (WMDs) and propaganda have failed miserably.

I wonder if Obama will invite those democratic 'rebels', including children, that were shown yesterday on RT beheading 'supporters of Assad',to the White House.

Nothing new here. The US has a long and proud history when it comes to supporting selective terrorist groups and illegal and oppressive regimes. Business as usual!!!

You can’t get a comedy writer to come up with this stuff. The first Syrian opposition group the US worked with and recognised broke up because the vast majority recognised Jabhat al-Nusra group an Al Qaeda offshoot as being the true resistance party against Assad group and aligned themselves with it.

Now this new Syrian Opposition is mostly members of the Muslim Brotherhood and the US actually said “we can do business with them” who by the way have openly stated they hate the US.

But it gets even more complicated in that the US will has declared Jabhat al-Nusra group and all associated with it as terrorists which means Assad can now wipe them out.

As I said you couldn’t get a comedy writer to come up with this stuff. As far as not arming the opposition you might want to look closely at some of the arms these guys carry such as the Steyr Stg.77 AUG assault rifle – its not a cheap rifle to buy on the open market.

LOL which opposition did it recognize? The one supported and financed by al Qaida? The one committing human atrocities through its own goon squads? The one most eager to take a pay check from the State Department and marching orders from the CIA? Or all of the above because America can't tell the difference and still believes that anyone against the ruling regime that has run afoul of Washington is actually struggling for freedom, democracy, and liberty these days?

The Yanks recognise everyone elses problems except there own. Look into your own backyard Obama and first fix the gun laws!!

That is good news so now this country is the only one in the world having two legitimate positions and opositions? weird? I would have prefered to har USA demands the war to stop and calling for a elections now when they say like this the oposition will try harder and the government will strike bak harder. The world politics cant be solved like this forever some day countries who involve them selfs in these kind of problems will have to pay the price for lives that got lost in these wars.We cant support war of any kind we need to stay neutral everytime and try to solve the problems the right way. Election is one andelection is the second. I feel for the people that suffer in this war specially the children and the old ones that cant protect them selfs.

You Albanian hypocrite.Hezbollah that is fighting for the liberation of Palestine are terrorists but the Western supported Al Qaeda in Syria isn't.What can one expect from Albanians that think Blair,Bush and Clinton are heroes.

Hell, they allow a fundamentalist regime warlords who are on the CIA payroll to run rampant through out Afghanistan, killing innocents.

Nothing good will come of this. However the U.S isn't willing to see that.

The military wing of Hezbollah is internationally regarded as a terrorist organisation. They even had a failed terrorist bomb attempt in Cyprus in July this year.

I never said that Al Qaeda wasn't a terrorist organisation because it is, that is assuming that Al Qaeda still exists (baring in mind the real Al Qaeda was disbanded by the CIA in 1997) and that they aren't just apart of the US's fictional War on Terrorism aka US's War for Oil.

And I think that "Blair,Bush and Clinton are heroes"? You must have never read my posts before because I have called for Blair and Bush to stand trial in the Hague for their War Crimes on many occasions. I hate them both!
