EU commissioner: Serbia could start EU talks in June

The Precedent and the Proper European Standard for European Union Accession Talks were Set with the Cyprus Precedent, even though things were less than optimal in a European Union Candidate Country.

I am not a fan of Serbia joining the EU, but I think that Serbia should insist and work towards having the Accepted Standard applied, because I am not a fan of Serbia being treated as Second Class.

This is because Britain and Germany have no qualms with applying Double Standards, because they are waiting for Serbia to be treated like a Second Class Citizen by accepting less than the Precedent and Accepted Proper European Standard that was set with Cyprus.

If Serbia is pressured in such a way; then, Britain and Germany will afterwards apply the Cyprus European Standard on Moldova and Georgia.

Serbia is not jealous of Moldova and Georgia receiving a Date or a Process for Accession Talks, even though they also have less than optimal situations like Cyprus has, and like Serbia has.

If Serbia accepts less than the Accepted Proper Standard and Precedent for Ascension Talks, then this is not good for Europe, and Serbia is in Europe.

If the European Union is impatient for Belarus, Moldova, and Georgia to start Accession Talks, then they will Most Grudgingly apply the Accepted European Standard to Serbia, because they cannot credibly apply the Cyprus Standard to Belarus, Moldova, and Georgia to help their Puppets, until Serbia is guaranteed Accession Talks.

You thought that your comment would offend serbs. What your ignorant a.s dousen't realize is that a majority of serb don't want to join this sinking ship. So, I hope you are right. I hope talk will start in the year 2019 and I hope we join short after when Eu is no more. An even better scenario would be if Eu just dissolves after Croatia joins.

Don't think you can find a European politician that would deny what you call the "Cyprus Standard" was actually the "Cyprus Huge Mistake" that should NEVER be repeated.
If you drive down the road and mistakenly turn the wrong way on a one way street, does not mean that you must forever do the same.
The ultimate goal in life is to learn from one's mistakes.

I was not trying to offend serbs. I would say I was being realistic. And btw. if you really dont want to join (as you and few others are saying) then simply tell your government.

I dont think EU needs Serbia, but Serbia needs EU (even your nationalist government is aware of that) since any other options is not economically nor geopolitically feasible for Serbia.

In short, I think you are a nationalist whose real intentions are not good for Serbian people and they should (for their own good) stay away from people like yourself. You are probably not even living in Serbia, but rather enjoying the life in the West, the same West that you loath so much... simply a hypocrite!
