I thank the Person who explained to me the reason for the current situation in Cyprus, because I had thought it to be a Territorial Dispute.

I read a little of this on Wikipedia, and I just did not realize that something like the Turkish Invasion of any Country, especially a European Country would be tolerated by Europe, but Germany is Turkey’s Traditional Ally.

We all know that that Turkey has a long History of interfering in European Affairs to put it politely.

Turkey is addicted to invading Europe and destroying European Countries, and I consider Armenia as a European type nation, and we all know of the Armenian Genocide, by Turkey, who also committed Genocide on Greeks known as the Pontic Genocide, and Turkey has committed Genocide on others.

Turkey is addicted to the Genocide of other races, and they need to go cold turkey on their Evil Habit.

Cyprus would be one good place for Turkey to start, although the same is true of the Kurds who do not have it easy, even though they are supposed to be Turkish Citizens.

I think that the Standard or Precedent that Cyprus Set was that European Union Accession Talks were approved, regardless of the fact that things were less than optimal in a European Union Candidate Country.

The Republic of Ireland has a territorial dispute with the Great Britain - North Ireland.
Spain has a territorial dispute with London - Gibraltar.
Yet, London didn't blackmailed Madrid in 1980s to acknowledge the British possession of Gibraltar to join EC.
Yes, there are standards, and 'standards', principles and 'principles'.
The most fascinating thing for me is that the United Kingdom feels that it has such a high moral ground to lecture others on disputed territories.
And Germany - that btw. did not truly accepted the full responsibility for WWII crimes and confronted its society with all atrocities and responsibility until late 1960s and 1970s - did not accept the border with Poland until 1970. Nice principles!
I only understand the Dutch. They don't really care for the Balkans and are fully economically dependent of Germany. And they will always give their support to Berlin for some economical advantages.
Of course, there is Serbia that, for example, implements the joint custom solution with Pristina a day before EU meeting. But still, I would be less unsatisfied if Sweden or Denmark had some objections, because they would have at least some moral high ground.

The Cyprus problem is not one of territorial disputes but one of invasion and occupation. The peace talks that have been taking place in the last few years are not about demarcation of borders but one of unifying the island in a bizonal, bicommunal state.Whether those talks will succeed or not that is another matter but lets not confuse the Cyprus issue with the Kosovo one.

"According to the news agency, the countries that have not recognized the province as independent are also opposed to giving it the EU's Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), and they include Cyprus, Greece, Romania, Slovakia, and Spain. "

Sounds like Kosovo has met the requirements but the feckless five simply intend to delay giving it the SAA for political reasons. Or maybe they want to use their signing off on the SAA as a bargaining chip in arguing for giving Serbia a pass on meeting its own requirements.

Georgia wants to join the European Union, but has Territorial Disputes with its Provinces of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Moldova wants to join the EU, but has a Territorial Dispute with its Province of Transnistria, and there is a separatist movement in Serbia’s Province of Kosovo, which is based entirely on Albanians insisting on a Mono Ethnic Greater Albania.

The Leading Countries of the EU do not care about having double standards, even as Hitler did not care about having double standards or more correctly having no standards.

The Standard for allowing ascension talks was set with Cyprus, even though Cyprus had a Territorial Dispute at that time; and, that Standard should not be arbitrarily lowered in a Totally Discriminatory Fashion for Political Reasons, contrary to the Vision of a Genuine Union of all Countries of Europe.

European Countries committed to the European Vision realize, that it is not in their Interest to change this Proper Standard, because it is not in Europe’s Interest if they capitulate to Britain and Germany.

Britain wants to leave the EU and then play its harmful divide and rule game on Europe, and Germany is forgetting the lessons of WW 1 and WW 2, and is building another Empire, rather than building a Genuine Union of European Countries.

Britain and Germany are waiting for Serbia to lower Europe’s Standards, so that they can then apply the Proper European Standard, known as the Cyprus Standard with regards to Moldova and Georgia.
