Over 1200 Norwegians, representing over 50 grass-root peace-movements demonstated in Oslo on Sunday the 9th of December 2012 against this 4-person elite-committee of Europhile fifth columns handing out this outragous award, going to the war-mongering EU-empire. The agressive role the EU played against the Serbian people in the (3rd) Balkan wars in Yugoslavia comes to mind as just one recent example. This is just one of many examples disqualifying the EU from any peace awards.

The vast majority do not have a clue what the EU really offers. In the past it was the sell of increase in trade which led to wealth and prosperity. The EU of 2012 is riddled by debt with the vast majority of members in financial difficulty and a very hard road to recovery.
Joining the EU is only becoming a part of an idea that has run its course – there is no pot of gold at the end of that rainbow. Even the Germans are now in recession and that does not augur well for European prosperity. One thing is known in that the EU of yesteryear is not going to be the EU of tomorrow and that is if it survives.
You have people from poor European countries looking at the EU like children with their noses pressed on the window of a candy store, but the facts are that this is only a dream – the money has gone for good.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results.

If Serbia still actually believes the EU is going to help Serbia, after everything that has happened in the past few years, then Serbs are insane.

Either way, in the end Serbs will get exactly what they deserve. So far they've been getting it...

Sure, keep the hopium flowing. The USSR and Yugoslavia also had all sorts of symbols to fool their populations. Mark in the agenda December 13th when van Rompuy wants to centralize the EU's countries' budget approval. After that the EUSSR will be a fact.
