I don't live far from Serbia, but boy the way these politicians reheat this rubbish and feed it to there people, the worst part is the Serbs from over the world that consume it the most.

Until now the serb politicians viewed the presence of KFOR as occupying forces and nkw they ask them to stay? What in the world is going on with serbs?

Don't understand peoples "shock" at this, it is classic Serbian.
Serbs can't do anything about UNSC1244 so they spin it that it is a proSerbian document even claiming it somehow guarantees that Kosovo will always be part of Serbia, eventhough the document blatantly states that the status of Kosovo is to be determined. Some even claiming that Serbia?Milosevic created 1244.
Serbia could not block EULEX taking over for UNMIK after months of vowing it will not happen then they issue a "welcome" as if Eulex was ONLY taking over because Serbia requested them.
Now Kfor says they have no plans to leave nor reduce troops and Serbs spin it that it is because of their insistence that NATO is to remain in Kosovo.
One day you will read How Serbia forced Kosovo to be separated from Serbia and their independence was more a case of Serbia casting them out.

"The reason for this, Vučić said, was the distrust of the Serb population toward the interim Kosovo institutions, i.e. the Kosovo Albanian authorities in Priština."

It's clear for everyone that KFOR and EULEX are the only institutions which (at least try to) keep some basic minimal standards, peace and order in the mafia state of Kosovo.

Bit of a contradiction to ask the foreign power accused of supporting the theft of your territory to stay on and protect what remains of your ethnic contingent in the stolen region. Serbs should be demanding that NATO leave immediately so that the Serbian army can take care of business within its own borders. Instead, they're perpetuating the status quo, which is de facto control of northern Kosovo and little else within the province. This leaves the impression that they've already ceded most of Kosovo to the Albanians.

"And even then the US will want to keep Camp Bondsteel."

Whatever in the world for? Besides, if they had been planning on staying forever, they'd have put up buildings more permanent than plywood sheds. Maybe even have put in some jet-capable runways? They can leave behind some drones and a few tanks and the Kosovars will be ok.

I was never under the impression that NATO, had any plans on leaving Kosova? Hasn't it been Serbia, till yesterday always been the one stating, that NATO has occupied its southern province? Where in the world is, ARI. GOLD? I would like to get his input on this one?
And by the way A. Vucic, NATO is always welcomed to stay in Kosova soil, now & future!!! And don't worry yourself so much, about issues that you have no influence, or say so over! You & your colleagues, have more important Serbian issues you should be concerned about!

If Serbia is willing to pay for NATO troops to stay longer....Just joking. The issue of Serb population in northern Kosovo is not about "distrust" but it is about unwillingness to recognize Kosovo institutions....So THERE IS A VERY BIG DIFFERENCE. If Serbia would have recognized Kosovo independence then you will see how quickly "the trust" will get to northern Serbs....I hope you get my point.

Wait, what?! And here I am, thinking that the Serbs cant wait for NATO to leave Kosovo, so they can get back in and take this whole thing over? Thats what I read here all the time.. But now Serbia begs the USA to please stay there longer, because the K-Serbs dont trust the interim (interim til the world crumbles) Kosovo security forces..
Its almost as if Belgrade says "please take care of this, we dont wanna be responsible for this!"

????Please NATO continues to occupy my country. US Proposal: Camp Bondsteel will stay, and become nonmilitary, Serbia will retain Kosovo if Serbia joins NATO………………..
