"Local leaders responsible if new tensions arise"

KFOR commander Volker Halbauer has commented on the recent incidents in the multi-ethnic Brđani neighborhood in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica.

"Halbauer reiterated that KFOR's role was not to determine the legal and political aspects of the activities related to construction and reconstruction in Kosovo, but that those activities should be managed in the spirit of reconciliation and dialogue."

Of course, building houses for former Albanian KLA 'freedom fighters' in a Serb-dominated neighborhood is surely a huge impressive step for 'dialogue and reconciliation' (the Albanian way).

But well, Isreal has similar ideas of 'peace and reconciliation' by constructing new settlements on Palestine soil.
