Dacic uses the words that Serbia lost Kosovo, rather than Kosovo was Stolen, because read the first sentence again, and the new Serbian Government is not bound by what another Government did.

The International Community by means of UNSCR 1244 gave Kosovo to Serbia, and so even if some Albanians say that Kosovo never belonged to Serbia, then Serbia has owned it since 1999, at the very least.

The coward is giving in. Does anybody know what the unified policy on Kosovo is? I believe they were supposed to come out with one? Nikolic is saying one thing, Dacic is capitulating? Anyway, the Serbs never had politicians. The DS sold out the entire country. Dacic will only finish off the job. Too bad Dveri, the SRS, or the DSS is not in power. I really believe it would not have been this easy. What ever became of Nikolic's trip to Russia? Finally, as a Serb, the Serb deserve everything they are about too get. We are sold souls.

Reading this article...something just sits not right with Serbia's approach in the way it's handleing Kosovo. My feeling is Serbia needs a different government, which i believe the US and EU wish for. Sad to say, i believe Serbia's government is barking up the wrong tree.

I don't get it, maybe someone can explain because the way I understand it Kosovo has been an autonomous republic for some time. In fact it was the government of Tito's Yugoslavia that granted autonomy to Kosovo, same as is for Vojvodina. So my point being if a region has autonomy then that region can secede if the majority of the population decides that that is what they want. So why all the fuss? On top of that other nations have recognised Kosovo's independence. This means it will never come back to Serbia. Isn't it better to accept the inevitable and move on then to dwell on the past and what could have been?

Looks like that the political class in Belgrade is getting from year to year closer to reality, though they still try to deny the obvious. Merdare is a border par excellence. There is nothing what you won't find at other border posts world wide, simply nothing, and soon it will be implemented at all border points. Serbia recognizes that there is a border once the IBM agreement has been established. The implementation of it is the manifestation of what Belgrade denies. I'm wondering how long they gonna ignore the elephant in the living room..

Ok, Northerners, relax: plentiful opportunities for smuggling will continue to exist. Not for food, of course, which was never subject to customs tax, but I assume most of what is sent to Kosovo from now on will be "meant for the Serb-dominate north." And end up in the South where, after all, most of Kosovo's Serb live, and shop.

Not need to be afraid. First get a good dictionary and find out the meaning of "capitulate". Then read the article again and show us where did Dacic say anything about recognizing "Kosova". If anything, he reiterated the opposite.
