How did anyone with a clear mind expect that to change, as long as the biggest criminals and mafia bosses are politicians and highest officials in the socalled 'Pristina government'? And be sure, a great percentage of the 100s of millions 'invested' went straight to their pockets, or pockets of their friends, family and clan members.
The EP is just a big waste of EU funding, just like EULEX and the "Kosova" project. They have a large wish list and that's about it. We want this and we want that, most of it unrealistic. It is no wonder the EU is in such a big mess.
The real question is who is making Serbs in north Kosovo want to be citizens of Kosovo and not Serbia. Serbs don't have to use Serbian institutions in Kosovo and rely on Serbian government. It is from Belgrade it is from Kosovo Serbs. Serbia has been very aggressive with the border deal and the meetings deal and the education deal all with the kosovo government. It is the Serbs in north Kosovo not belgrade
right now the situation in kosovo is so bad that not a single soul wants to live there except criminal thaqi and his gang that are killing the people of kosovo, albanians, serbs romas, etc.. people of kosovo needs someone who can lead them but there isn't anyone. i do not think kosovo will see econimic growth in near future because of high corruption.
The European Parliament is just another institution where it is clear that Serbia will not go anywhere as long as she does not solve the Kosovo case (for herself). Furthermore, what Ivanovic does not grasp is the fact that even if the proposal does not come implemented, it will be still just enough to prove that Serbia continues to obstruct all attempts to bring final peace to this area and keeping that area tense. In fact it will weigh more than the Kosovo talks which are still just a fig leaf for the EU accession talks.
Just say no. These lunatics wont improve anybody's lives anyway (except for politicians who will get richer upon membership) so there's just no reason to give two sh**s about the European Union's opinion.
