Yes there were plenty that called the Court a shame priori to Gotovina or Haradin, but as I said the same Court has in one single action proclaimed itself just that which I did not expect in my wildest dreams – a total shame.
Maybe at your level of society you haven’t felt that ripple, but it certainly has in the right places. Because it tears at the very foundation of the concept preached by the west of “rule of law” – as one senior counsel in Sydney Australia said at a Sydney University dinner “the ICJY has pissed on everything we hold dear”.
(sj, 1 December 2012 06:30)

those are great facts... Please make sure to send them to Russia and China as soon as possible since they continue to elect the shameful judges of that shameful court :)

In the minds of those who have fought hard to convince others that the court was a sham and all Serbs were saints during the balkan wars. But I doubt it has changed the opinion of another single soul.

But I’m more interested in the change of opinions in Serbia.

Better write a letter to Hague and tell them to better have ask their Italian colleagues to give some advice on how to proceed when putting mafia bosses on trial. They could have given recommendation how to protect witnesses from being killed and silenced, and how to deal with those 'gentlemen' during the proceedings, which surely doesn't include to release them temporarily during the trial.

I agree. Thus write a latter to Hague and tel them to stop fabricating processes with no evidence just to please the Serbian strategy of: we are all equaly guilty. Since that strategy does not work when is tested in independent courts. Then Serbs get frustrated. but it is theirs and only theirs problem. All we others (Albanians, Croats, Bosnians, Montenegirns) can do is have a sweet laugh on their frustration, and we are Karl we are having great laugh.

T is right about Nikolic needing a lesson in diplomacy. He's not helping his cause on the international stage with his childish comments. And now I see from today's headlines that Nikolic is taking meetings with the Serbian patriarch. Wonderful. You see why Serbs can't win?

At best, the West simply doesn't understand Serbian history, suffering or grievances. They have no empathy for Serbian victims. This is evident in the decisions at the Hague and the media and political response to those decisions in the West. At worst, I can't help feeling that there is a latent racism which hasn't and will never go away, an anti-Slav undercurrent that festers in a German-scentric EU.

Serbia should continue to look to Russia, Asia and China for power and protection. Through the UN and its inheritance of historical friendship from the non-aligned movement Serbia can build an alternative power base to the American and European hegemony at the UN. The first challenge is to destroy the perceived validity and moral authority of the NATO court at the Hague as the first step to curtailing the power and influence of the US and the German led EU.

Those countries not aligned with the US and the EU can create a world orientated away from western immorality. The old imperialistic values of power, greed and exploitation in the West linger on its treatment of troubled hotspots-Libya, Syria, and Yugoslavia-which they see as opportunities for exploitation as opposed to areas in need of support.

Serbia can help lead the free world to finally eradicate these imperialistic cancers by championing justice for all at the UN.

It has been said many times before by few Serbian posters here that the criminal court was nothing more than Nato’s judicial executioner and it’s not a coincidence that Muslim Bosnian,Albanian and Croatian war criminals had their sentences thrown away and been released. With the latest verdict all pretences have gone and the hoods are taken off.

On the other hand ,the latest verdict could be a blessing in disguise because it dispels any illusions for even those Serbs that pinned their hopes of joining the EU because it just confirmed that the lives of Serbian victims were of no value to the judges at the Hague and their politically motivated decision(favouring the Nazi allies of world war II) and biased against the Serbs.

I will repeat my message again: Serbia stay clear of the EU path.

How can we reconcile with those who glorify war criminals = impossible.

Especially the illegal verdicts in the Croat generals case (for those who read the ruling by the ICTY) - it's evident to a monkey that this was a biased judgement and a manipulated and staged verdict. The dissenting judges clearly detailed the reasons why the ruling was even 'against the law', and thus should not have been binding.

The leaders of Croatia (Gotovina et al), Bosna (Naser Oric/Izetbegovic) and K.Albs(Haradinaj/Fatmir Limaj) got off and didn't pay the price for the pain and hurt they caused = no reconciliation whilst they are glorified by the people of those countries.

It's possible for reconciliation but not while these murderers are protected and praised by ignorant half-wits who are blind to see the truth or at least too scared to face it..

The International Tribunal could not have done a better job than if I had planned it. They have systematically destroyed the mythology of the western judicial due process.
The Serbs have been claiming that it was a biased organization aimed at only one people. With these recent decisions they have proven that point magnificently. They have shown that the Tribuanl is on par with the Soviet show trials of the 1930s and this point has even westerners very worried that their hard earned rights and their showcase judicial systems are nothing but lies. They looked towards the US as the beacon of human rights and the upholder of rule of law only to be shown what a pathertic and shallow state is has become. Every human rights group os horrified at this decision, but I am not. This had to happen to show even te4h dumbest Serbs who look upon the EU as some kind of savior the true face of the west.
As I said if I had planned it myself I could not have done a better job.
Remember that for every action threr will be a reaction – look at Palestine in the UN. The Us could do nothing to stop it and every now and then the window opens and if your awake you see just how weak the US has become.
