Well as a true American, Would most "like" Serbs or Albanians I don't think there is a contest. People who were against military involvement in Kosovo, the majority felt it was morally appropriate but that it was a European issue.

Right, this here would be a logical ICTY ruling: "We are aware that 1000s of people were killed in Srebrenica by (Bosnian-)Serbian troops, but we couldn't find a proof that their commander Mladic and the political leader Karadzic knew anything about it."

Makes sense, doesn't it? The acquittal of Haradinaj and Gotovina had the same quality.

Of course, in the case of Mladic and Karadzic, if the judges of trial chamber elected there by Russia, China & Co. determine that the evidence presented in THEIR trial does not establish beyond reasonable doubt their responsability for the alleged crimes, it's going to acquit them like it did with Serbia's President, Gotovina, and Haradinaj.

Yes as you saying we liberated Albania 1912.
Again Europe then gave state to you like they done it now.
You couldn`t fight then, like you couldn`t fight in 1999, because you had no KNOWLEDGE and WEAPONS to fight. So you`re celebrating a day when Serbian soldier came there and pushed Turkish empire back to Asia.
Don`t talk too much about natural Albania, because around 1/3 of Albanians are Ortodox, and allot of them are under force assimilated Serbians.
Again we have situation on Kosmet(not Kosovo), that first aim of your "government" is criminal in Europe and GB.

what total nonsense Comm. Serbia has tried to label the KLA a terrorist organization since 1999 and it has failed and failed big time. The persecution failed to provide ample evidence for the things mr. Haradinaj was accused of. Unlike say Mladic or Karadzic, Haradinaj did not spend his time hiding, becoming some sort of new age healer, he handed himself in. Now, you point me to a KLA crime that measures up to Srberenica, the siege of Sarajevo, the bombing of Vukovar, the mass expulsion of 1 mill. people...yo can't. do you know why you can't? because they don't exist. The organ allegation? yes, the EU has challenged Mr Marty to submit his evidence and has point blank refused. in short, whatever you opinion on Kosova (and I know you're opinion) the allegations against the KLA have NEVER been proven, not even once. conspiracy theories, yes we have plenty. oh and i know you like stuff write mafia led Kosova, however, EULEX rules over here (they can veto any decision the K. Parliament makes), so you know, it seems the EU that you're a fan of is in cahoots with these mobsters

No we were celebrating the establishment of an Albanian state.

Don't think you "liberated" Albania, had Greece and Serbia had their own way; they'd have dived Albania between the two of them. The Great Powers at the time forced Greece and Serbia into accepting an Albanian state, however you managed to worm you way around it by keeping 40% of Natural Albania for yourselves.

And in 1912, us Albanians in Kosova weren't liberated either. We just exchanged one colonial rulers the Ottomans, for another colonial ruler, the Serbs. You say "liberated" Kosova, whereas we say conquered as the vast majority of Kosova wasn't happy about the arrival of the Serb Occupation in 1912. Even Serbia's own sources say that a maximum of 25% of Kosova was Serb/ Orthodox. But thankfully in 1999 and 2008 we were able to remedy the injustices of 1912.

Yes ride your bike through Kosova, you'll be safe. But if I were to ride my bike in that Wild West aka Northern Kosova I would very much fear for my life.

Did you read the ruling at all? It only proves one thing:

The alleged crimes (torture and murders of prisoners in a KLA camp that happened, as confirmed by the ICTY) couldn't be connected to the 'gentlemen'.

And in case you don't know: This retrial was needed because the witnesses who wanted to testify against these 'gentlemen' were intimidated, 'silenced' or they 'disappeared', if you know what these words mean in mafia circles. Well, mafia methods still work nowadays, that's another thing that was proven.

American Hawk, I'm assuming you're of Serbian extraction. Let's see, most Americans don't know what Kosova is, never mind know where it is. I'm more than certain, most yanks wouldn't be able to point Kosova out on a map. It doesn't matter to me however, your country, however it may well annoy you, recognises mine and that goes a pretty long way. You're right, we're not really independent, we're both a US colony and EU protectorate. However, we prefer this form of dependence, to the one we had 20 odd years ago. So thanks for being hawkish, without it, it paid off well for us

Just like in the case of Oric and the Croatian generals, crimes were committed, but the leadership was not held responsible for them. So then who is responsible, the individual soldier? This Hague court is a farce beyond logic. I want to believe that justice and world courts are unbiased, but I am having a really hard time beieving that.

I also believed he is innocent. I am happy they released him. Now as wee see that this is all about spitting on serbs i will welcome the release of Ratko mladic, Karadic, seselj and the rest of them. This would be a great step for the balkan countries to start a new era. Serbia should not get in to Kosovo question to much as they know that good relations is not possible since albanians on kosovo could not handle that. But instead of saying who is right or wrong why cant they just start fresh? or is it really only the sh**** on serbs that they enjoy, forgot about the peace? For the crimes of the nature Ramush Haradinaj was charged for Hague would not even prosecute them. This type of crimes Hague has delegated to local judiciary. Trials for this kind of crimes are everyday work in Serbia.

Hague beahved politically when got involved in this tiral at the first place. It did that to please you Serbs. But that's how far it can stratch it.

In the last few months, Serbia has received some serious blows to her perception of reality. First, EU basically tells it that it has to recognize Kosovo (that’s what it boils down to), then Hague declares Croatian Generals not guilty, and now this. This may be too much of a shock to some Serbs, but perhaps it is what was needed in order to wake them out of a deep coma with all their myths.

Well I can say that I am not surprised, the bias of the Hague was always know. Once again the albanian internet warrior trolls are out in force to 'bravely' defend your terrorist 'hero' and OF COURSE to rate down all comments disagreeing with his release. Absolutely, the myth that this NATO "court" serves justice. Those Serbs should have woken up by now, which I might add are in the minority as most Serbs have known for a long time that this is a political kangaroo court. This verdict is not shocking to most of us but rather highly predictable.

So there should be no doubt in the minds of most about the political nature of this so-called court, EULEX and NATO on the ground. They can't even solve simple murder cases against Serbs in times of "peace" (i.e. occupation). Why would they solve any in times of war against their opponents?

I have no problem with the verdict if others are convicted for what happened on the ground, but it seems that they can't / won't bother doing a proper job of bringing non Serbs to justice.The only silver lining for Serbia is that it can hold its head up and say its the only former SFRJ country that's properly faced justice, unlike the others failing to investigate, intimating witnesses or getting off on technicalities.

Fact is, that the UCK was not a joint criminal enterprise but rather a fight for freedom. Crimes did occur but generals like Haradinaj cant be held responisble. Carla Del Ponte is a disgrace to the interational justice and her biased and slanderous prosecutions amounted to plain witch-hunt, that was smashed and squashed today. No Court can rewrite the History! No court can build an artificial balance between the victims and the aggressor!

This is just the same old pattern repeating. Yes, there were crimes committed against Serbs and other non-Albanians but they can't find who is responsible for some reason. Time after time, we see this from individual murders to massacres. If it is Serbs being murdered then the crime gets swept under the carpet.

In the last few months, Serbia has received some serious blows to her perception of reality. First, EU basically tells it that it has to recognize Kosovo (that’s what it boils down to), then Hague declares Croatian Generals not guilty, and now this. This may be too much of a shock to some Serbs, but perhaps it is what was needed in order to wake them out of a deep coma with all their myths.

Absolutely, the myth that this NATO "court" serves justice. Those Serbs should have woken up by now, which I might add are in the minority as most Serbs have known for a long time that this is a political kangaroo court. This verdict is not shocking to most of us but rather highly predictable.

So there should be no doubt in the minds of most about the political nature of this so-called court, EULEX and NATO on the ground. They can't even solve simple murder cases against Serbs in times of "peace" (i.e. occupation). Why would they solve any in times of war against their opponents?

Fact is, that the UCK was not a joint criminal enterprise but rather a fight for freedom. Crimes did occur but generals like Haradinaj cant be held responisble. Carla Del Ponte is a disgrace to the interational justice and her biased and slanderous prosecutions amounted to plain witch-hunt, that was smashed and squashed today. No Court can rewrite the History! No court can build an artificial balance between the victims and the aggressor!

I have no problem with the verdict if others are convicted for what happened on the ground, but it seems that they can't / won't bother doing a proper job of bringing non Serbs to justice.The only silver lining for Serbia is that it can hold its head up and say its the only former SFRJ country that's properly faced justice, unlike the others failing to investigate, intimating witnesses or getting off on technicalities.

Just like in the case of Oric and the Croatian generals, crimes were committed, but the leadership was not held responsible for them. So then who is responsible, the individual soldier? This Hague court is a farce beyond logic. I want to believe that justice and world courts are unbiased, but I am having a really hard time beieving that.

For the crimes of the nature Ramush Haradinaj was charged for Hague would not even prosecute them. This type of crimes Hague has delegated to local judiciary. Trials for this kind of crimes are everyday work in Serbia.

Hague beahved politically when got involved in this tiral at the first place. It did that to please you Serbs. But that's how far it can stratch it.

Right, this here would be a logical ICTY ruling: "We are aware that 1000s of people were killed in Srebrenica by (Bosnian-)Serbian troops, but we couldn't find a proof that their commander Mladic and the political leader Karadzic knew anything about it."

The persecution failed to provide ample evidence for the things mr. Haradinaj was accused of. Of course, in the case of Mladic and Karadzic, if the judges of trial chamber elected there by Russia, China & Co. determine that the evidence presented in THEIR trial does not establish beyond reasonable doubt their responsability for the alleged crimes, it's going to acquit them like it did with Serbia's President, Gotovina, and Haradinaj.

I'm more than certain, most yanks wouldn't be able to point Kosova out on a map. Don't think you "liberated" Albania, had Greece and Serbia had their own way; they'd have dived Albania between the two of them. The Great Powers at the time forced Greece and Serbia into accepting an Albanian state, however you managed to worm you way around it by keeping 40% of Natural Albania for yourselves.

Even Serbia's own sources say that a maximum of 25% of Kosova was Serb/ Orthodox. But thankfully in 1999 and 2008 we were able to remedy the injustices of 1912.

Did you read the ruling at all? It only proves one thing:

The alleged crimes (torture and murders of prisoners in a KLA camp that happened, as confirmed by the ICTY) couldn't be connected to the 'gentlemen'.

And in case you don't know: This retrial was needed because the witnesses who wanted to testify against these 'gentlemen' were intimidated, 'silenced' or they 'disappeared', if you know what these words mean in mafia circles. Well, mafia methods still work nowadays, that's another thing that was proven.

Well I can say that I am not surprised, the bias of the Hague was always know. For the crimes of the nature Ramush Haradinaj was charged for Hague would not even prosecute them. This type of crimes Hague has delegated to local judiciary. Trials for this kind of crimes are everyday work in Serbia.

Absolutely, the myth that this NATO "court" serves justice. Those Serbs should have woken up by now, which I might add are in the minority as most Serbs have known for a long time that this is a political kangaroo court. This verdict is not shocking to most of us but rather highly predictable.

So there should be no doubt in the minds of most about the political nature of this so-called court, EULEX and NATO on the ground. They can't even solve simple murder cases against Serbs in times of "peace" (i.e. occupation). Why would they solve any in times of war against their opponents?

I have no problem with the verdict if others are convicted for what happened on the ground, but it seems that they can't / won't bother doing a proper job of bringing non Serbs to justice.The only silver lining for Serbia is that it can hold its head up and say its the only former SFRJ country that's properly faced justice, unlike the others failing to investigate, intimating witnesses or getting off on technicalities.

I also believed he is innocent. I am happy they released him. Now as wee see that this is all about spitting on serbs i will welcome the release of Ratko mladic, Karadic, seselj and the rest of them. This would be a great step for the balkan countries to start a new era. Serbia should not get in to Kosovo question to much as they know that good relations is not possible since albanians on kosovo could not handle that. Just like in the case of Oric and the Croatian generals, crimes were committed, but the leadership was not held responsible for them. So then who is responsible, the individual soldier? This Hague court is a farce beyond logic. I want to believe that justice and world courts are unbiased, but I am having a really hard time beieving that.

Right, this here would be a logical ICTY ruling: "We are aware that 1000s of people were killed in Srebrenica by (Bosnian-)Serbian troops, but we couldn't find a proof that their commander Mladic and the political leader Karadzic knew anything about it."

You need to pass allot of time, at least three of your generation or more than 100 years for you to have some scope what is country and industry.
And during that period you can ask us because we know how to manage with state and what is state,but be sure that political situation will be different in next 100 years.
Who mentioned safety, I was talking about territory, normally you can`t pass with bike when you`re killing Serbs there.
Also you can continue with demolition of non protected Serbian historical monuments on Kosmet, but you need also 100 year to do it, because on every hill on Kosmet there was old Serbian church, monastery, or house.

American Hawk, I'm assuming you're of Serbian extraction. Let's see, most Americans don't know what Kosova is, never mind know where it is. I'm more than certain, most yanks wouldn't be able to point Kosova out on a map. It doesn't matter to me however, your country, however it may well annoy you, recognises mine and that goes a pretty long way. You're right, we're not really independent, we're both a US colony and EU protectorate. However, we prefer this form of dependence, to the one we had 20 odd years ago. So thanks for being hawkish, without it, it paid off well for us

Don`t be ridiculous it is a matter of time when Serbs are coming back to liberate Kosovo and Metohija. Don`t forget your holiday couple a days ago, you`re celebrating a year when Serbian army liberated you from Turkey in 1912, we should celebrate together. Albanian Kosovo is poor little criminal country and it won`t take long.

Don't think you "liberated" Albania, had Greece and Serbia had their own way; they'd have dived Albania between the two of them. The Great Powers at the time forced Greece and Serbia into accepting an Albanian state, however you managed to worm you way around it by keeping 40% of Natural Albania for yourselves.

And in 1912, us Albanians in Kosova weren't liberated either. We just exchanged one colonial rulers the Ottomans, for another colonial ruler, the Serbs. You say "liberated" Kosova, whereas we say conquered as the vast majority of Kosova wasn't happy about the arrival of the Serb Occupation in 1912. Even Serbia's own sources say that a maximum of 25% of Kosova was Serb/ Orthodox. But thankfully in 1999 and 2008 we were able to remedy the injustices of 1912.

Yes ride your bike through Kosova, you'll be safe. But if I were to ride my bike in that Wild West aka Northern Kosova I would very much fear for my life.

what total nonsense Comm. Serbia has tried to label the KLA a terrorist organization since 1999 and it has failed and failed big time. The persecution failed to provide ample evidence for the things mr. Haradinaj was accused of. Unlike say Mladic or Karadzic, Haradinaj did not spend his time hiding, becoming some sort of new age healer, he handed himself in. Now, you point me to a KLA crime that measures up to Srberenica, the siege of Sarajevo, the bombing of Vukovar, the mass expulsion of 1 mill. people...yo can't. do you know why you can't? because they don't exist. The organ allegation? yes, the EU has challenged Mr Marty to submit his evidence and has point blank refused. in short, whatever you opinion on Kosova (and I know you're opinion) the allegations against the KLA have NEVER been proven, not even once. conspiracy theories, yes we have plenty. oh and i know you like stuff write mafia led Kosova, however, EULEX rules over here (they can veto any decision the K. Parliament makes), so you know, it seems the EU that you're a fan of is in cahoots with these mobsters

You really think all Americans like you? You really think Americans even care to know who you are? I don't care if your're Afghani, Iraqi, Libyan, Albanian, or Colombian. Well as a true American, Would most "like" Serbs or Albanians I don't think there is a contest. People who were against military involvement in Kosovo, the majority felt it was morally appropriate but that it was a European issue.

...so? do you know the difference between religion and ethnicity/nationality? there are also a lot of Catholic Albanians, (my family is such), does that now make us Italians? this is the problem with a lot of our neighbors, they think you can't be a Christian and an Albanian. well sunshine, over 90% of Albanians, when it comes to choosing between the Crescent/Cross and the double headed eagle on a red background, go for the double headed eagle every time of the day. we don't let theism get between us [unlike Serbs who think of Serbian muslims (or Bosnians)] as Turks

Right, this here would be a logical ICTY ruling: "We are aware that 1000s of people were killed in Srebrenica by (Bosnian-)Serbian troops, but we couldn't find a proof that their commander Mladic and the political leader Karadzic knew anything about it."

Makes sense, doesn't it? The acquittal of Haradinaj and Gotovina had the same quality.

Of course, in the case of Mladic and Karadzic, if the judges of trial chamber elected there by Russia, China & Co. determine that the evidence presented in THEIR trial does not establish beyond reasonable doubt their responsability for the alleged crimes, it's going to acquit them like it did with Serbia's President, Gotovina, and Haradinaj.
