Morsi has just, by executive fiat, decreed that there shall be no checks on the executive. He is making sure that there can be no legal challenge to him.His actions confirm that all religious fundamentalists, especially the ones manufactured by the CIA, are fascist by nature.Having got rid of military dictator Mubarak, Egypt finds itself under the control of an Islamist who is obviously building the foundations of what is almost certain to be a rather repressive religious-based autocracy.

Morsi is also the same man who promised he would appoint a woman and a Copt as his vice-presidents, but then chose Hisham Kandil from Mubarrak's outgoing regime as his Prime Minister-not to mention that all present military chiefs in the army that were torturing and killing the people are from the same era as well. Will we ever see the promised female and Christian vice-presidents? Of course we won't.

Morsi's election in Egypt and the Islamist anarchy in Libya are the models that the West and their Turkish and Saudi allies want to build upon in Syria.
