Mr Jeremic, you should start by going after the Serb paramilitaries and JNA who deliberately attacked and target the press corp during Serb aggression on Croatia and Bosnia. All the propaganda from your side was harder to uphold when there were journalists reporting there reporting on Serb aggression... Now you come up with this??? What a joke...

sreten, international journalists were targets for the JNA & paramilitaries from Serbia proper, especially in the early years 91-94. They didn't want the world to catch on to the killing fields and brutal massacres being perpetrated by them. Then on the other hand you had milosevic pulling the strings of the Serb media and public .....leading them to believe Germany was invading Yugoslav and Croats were massacring Serb children and wearing necklaces made of fingers.

During the bombing in 1999 NATO bombed TV station building. In the same time there were number of foreign correspondence teams in Belgrade that nobody touched (CNN, etc.)
So, don't be so self-righteous, and blame Serbs for everything.
In fact, this is probable aimed at US and UK, as they have been responsible for 3/4 of journalists killings in the last decade.
Al - Jazeera have been targeted many times, and not only their journalists have been killed, but also their building in Kabul was hit by US missile. Each time US or UK would apologize for the mistake.

I'd be more impressed if he'd released a statement condemning those corrupt clowns in the Hague who call themselves a judiciary for their blatant politically motivated release of convicted war criminals.Most Western journalists are as corrupt and as morally bankrupt as those guys so their loss is no loss in my view.
