We fought side by side each time it was necessary but in 1999. Be sure the Russians are still ashamed of it. We fell responsible for letting them do it to the Serbs. But don’t you worry we’ll be there !
(rote kapelle, 23 November 2012 16:49)

Just 1999? It's hard to count the times Russia has let Serbs down, the last time being in 2010 when Russia extended the terms of ICTY judges Meron and Robinson to 31 Dec 2012 so that they could acquitt Gotovina and Markic. If Mr. Kuzmin, Serbia's strong ally, had do not done that, Gotovina and Markac would not be free today.

The Crying Dutchman’s pearls ^

1. If Albanians don't have 'friends' than why did the NATO bomb you?
2. "We (Americans) have stood by you for 100 years now and we will stand by you for the 100 years to come".
3. What did Russia ever do for you? Nothing!

1. If NATO dared to bomb us (the Russians) it would already stop to exist together with all it’s member states but Greece. We saw it in Georgia when NATO silently watched us to tear their ally into pieces. Beware coz next it may be your turn to chew neckties.
2. Americans started to play roles in the world politics 98 years ago but they first heard Albania and Albanians swears only 13 years ago. So don’t imagine too much. Besides they will wipe off their feet on you as soon as Serbia stops to resist. All because they have no advanced technologies to revive used preservatives. Your only value is Serbia’s will power. Then you will know the fatal truth.
3. After WW2 the leaders of the two states for decades strived hard to make us forget each other. All in vain. So do you really believe some silly posts have better chances for success ? We fought side by side each time it was necessary but in 1999. Be sure the Russians are still ashamed of it. We fell responsible for letting them do it to the Serbs. But don’t you worry we’ll be there !

WHAT I AGREE WITH YOU IS YOUR PRAY :

(icj1, 23 November 2012 03:49)

Of course Russian has no principled position, only opportunism and strategical reasons, just like the countries that recognized Kosovo.

If you want a principled principled position: Look at Spain, they don't allow ethnic minorities to unilaterally create own states on other countries soil, first of all because they have ethnic minorities, too. And with the ETA terror organization who fight for 'Basque freedom' with violent means, i.e. 100s of people killed in ETA terrorist attacks, they have something similar like the KLA, and don't want to reward those groups.

Dont ever think that Abkhazia & South Ossetia would have happened if not for Kosovo. Russia's recognition of the two states (Which certainly have greater ethnic/historical/moral claims to their own states than the Kosovo albanians do) was little more than a response to the law breaking of America & its EU allies. They reap what they sow
(New Zealander, 22 November 2012 21:42)

Which law(s) was broken? I'm unaware of the US and EU states violating any laws regarding Kosovo.

I sympathise with Abkhazia's independence, but in 1991 Abkhazia had well over twice the population it does now before the Abkhazs and Russians kicked the Georgians out. And the historical Kingdom of Abkhazia was a Georgian country and a client state within the Kingdom of Georgia. So much for your "ethnic/historical/moral claim". And I would support an independent united Ossetia but not a South on it's own, which Russia would allow if it truly cared about the Ossetian people; instead of supporting them for geo-political purposes. Even the people of Abkhazia and South Ossetia know they're just Russian Puppet states these days. They're more like Russian Autonomous Oblasts/ Republics rather than countries which Russia has annexed by force from Georgia. Russia politicians still have a mediaeval mentality where they believe it is acceptable to invade, conquer and expand it's territory.

You once again show your utter ignorance. Nobody has friends in this world, just allies. And Albanians have much stronger allies than Serbs will ever have. If Albanians don't have 'friends' than why did the NATO bomb you? Why than 95 countries around the world support Kosova's independence? May I just remind you what Hillary Clionton said during her visit in Albania recently: "We (Americans) have stood by you for 100 years now and we will stand by you for the 100 years to come". That's all we need. And unlike Serbia's 'friends' (Russia), they proofed thay are true allies. What did Russia ever do for you? Nothing! May Serbia always be blessed with friends like Russia.

Today I talked of history with a Bulgarian supplier of mine. He was very surprised how long memory we have here. During the USSR Bulgaria made a rebranding as the best friend of ours. So he never expected to hear from me that they had fought on our side only once in their history when we had been liberating them from the Turks. After that during 150 years to come they always joined our rivals. Same with you dear EA ( ebani albanetz ) boy. We shall remember you every little crime you have committed. Most likely my grandson will avenge yours. So instead of such silly provoking comments best if you think of the way out. Albanians are damned not to have even one single friend on this big globe. Few days ago a gipsy woman asked some money from me and a rejected the idea saying that I never help the Roma. She wondered what was wrong with the Roma people. And I said that Roma was not a nation but rather a profession. So don’t you think that Albanians of both two sorts are shifting Romaward changing into a profession ?

There is some difference which Russophobes prefer not to know. Anyway both Ossetia and Abkhazia had become parts of Russia long before we created the Georgian nation and saved them from elimination. It means that during the USSR Georgia received the two mentioned regions of Russia from Russia itself. At that times Ossetia was united but Georgia was granted only with the Southern part of this land. Who knows what Stalin was motivated with. Maybe because only his father was of Ossetian origin while his mother was a Georgian. Anyway when Georgians declared their independence and tried to steal the presented lands the two small peoples rebelled and for 17-18 years have been beating the Georgians which has always been bad warriors. Just like Albanians to steal KM and to hide behind the NATO troops and also to show Serbian dead bodies as a proof of the Serbian “atrocities”. So the joke is on you my simple minded friend.

Sure, but Spain has a principled position for it's own situation. When it came to Serbia, it dumped it immediately after the ICJ opinion and said that Kosovo's case is not similar to Spain's

What did Russia ever do for you? Nothing! May Serbia always be blessed with friends like Russia.
(The Flying Dutchman, 23 November 2012 10:18)

Wrong! Russia did do something; i.e. Russia did issue statements that kept the Serb spirit high :)

We fought side by side each time it was necessary but in 1999. Be sure the Russians are still ashamed of it. We fell responsible for letting them do it to the Serbs. But don’t you worry we’ll be there !
