Just keep thinking that Kosovo is not serbian, in 50 years when the albanians in Montenegro will claim that montenegro is albanian you will blame urself and ur government for not getting rid of them in time.

According to international law, the krajina was/is a legal part of Croatian territory and as such removing an illegal occupation was called for. Funny how people like to change their definition of international law when it suits them. Think Kosovo....

According to international law Kosovo was a part of Serbia but Im pretty sure that u dont think it would be called for to expell albanians occupying serb territory am I right? And by the way Krajina was a part of Croatia just as much as Croatia was a part of Yugoslavia.

It seems to me that Ante Gotovina and his likes would say anything to keep themselves out of the claws of the EU-court in the Hague. The likes of him would probobly do anything to keep their new puppet-masters happy. They have become the new "Daniel Cohn-Bendit's" of the Balkans, contra-dicting all their past statements. So much for their credibility.

OK President Nikolic, you lead the procession of people back to their homes in Croatia, whether the people are in horse and buggy or walking. Croatia says come back home, so do it! It would be interesting to see this happen, see what Croatia would do. I'm all for it!

Of course not. You are forgetting to factor in double standards.

Thanks for providing some context. Yep, it is pretty bad.
Well, something that Serbs and Croats have in common: both capitols don't care about the rest of their respective countries.

To what can the Serbs refugees return?
(Joe A, 19 November 2012 13:29)

Racial apartheid in Croatia is the least of their concerns. I was in HR this summer and realized how economically bad it is - almost as bad as Serbia. The only source of economic vitality outside the tourism industry that will be the only thing left to the country after its forced to privatize all its industries to German, Italian, Slovene and Czech firms is what's in Zagreb and Istria. Outside that, there's nothing for any Croatian youth. Karlovac and Vukovar are dead cities. The first is basically deserted after dark and the second is kept as some constant reminder of Croatian "victimhood". Zagreb doesn't care about either. All of "liberated" Krajina is a wilderness because once the Serbs were expelled - oh I'm sorry, "evacuated in an organized mannder" - they took the the local economy with them. There's nothing in Knin except a stupid monument to King Zvonimir, which was HDZ's attempt at "de-Serbianizing" the region and pushing some obscure Croatian symbolism. Croatia did nothing with the region since Storm. Croatian youth will are looking for jobs outside Croatia. Split and Zadar are full of Hercegovinian narodnjaci who worship Gotovina and ensure Thompson has a steady financial income (though they also love Serbian Turbo-folk). Who cares about primitive racism when there's no economic life? Serbs might as well sell what's theirs, take the money and move to New Zealand :)

Return to Croatia No thanks! Krajina can stay empty, barren and unproductive my only wish is that the economic void Oluja created in Krajina will spread to the rest of Croatia. I'm sure that one day the Croats will grow a collective brain and realised that they have damaged their own economy and gained little from Oluja. As for this Krajina Serb I won't bother stopping to pass water on Croatian soil I'm far better off where I am.

Let me see now...

USA says Israel has right to protect themselves. In the 2008 & 2009 war Israel killed over 1400 Palestinians - of which hundreds were civilians - while their own casualties were 13, of which 4 was killed in friendly fire. USA don't call this overpowering the warfare. This time and this far Israel has killed close to 100 Palestinians and wounded hundreds while their own casualties are 3 killed and 50 wounded. USA don't call this overpowering the warfare.

How was it in Kosovo when USA condemned Serbia using too much power?

Let me see now...

Bam Bam says: "The Croatian Serbs will get the respect they deserve once they acknowledge that OLUJA was a legitmate action to rid Croatia of un-friendly's and terrorists and restore law and order in 'their' homeland which is named the Rep. Of Croatia." And he goes on: "Intergrate or perish!"

How was it in Kosovo?

Let me see now...

Croatia said Serbia fought war against its own citizens and therefore lost its rights to Kosovo. Croatia fought war against its own citizens -but doesn't speak about this.

Should Croatia therefore lose its rights to Krajina?

A lot needs to be done for Serbs to return. Croatia has a programme which rebuilds the destroyed homes for those Serbs wanting to move back, however when I say rebuild this doesn't mean to the standard of what it was before it was destroyed, rather to a very basic level only for the number of people who are moving back, this isn't good enough. Gotovina is merely trying to calm the situation by making these statements, maybe I will take them genuinely when we supports a programme to rebuild every single Serbian home that was destroyed and to a high standard, and not just on request but on every home destroyed. So many villages are in ruins and overgrown because those Serbs who came from those villages don't have nearly enough money to make regular vists and then to invest in reconstruction themselves, so more needs to be done.

This is nothing but words though, in a hypothetical situation if all the Serbs who were forced out returned the Croats living in the area of the former Republika Srpska Krajina would feel extremely uneasy and Knin would be full of Serbs making a huge majority of the population in Knin, this would be unacceptable for Croats. Even in the summer time Knin is full of Serbs, maybe not to make a majority but enough to make Croat residents very uneasy, I would know as I spend a lot of Summer in the Knin area, where we have rebuilt our house. Contrary to what Bam Bam said below, Serbs will never respect the state of Croatia, in our hearts it is Serbian land.

Serbs have the right to return but they must 'RESPECT' the country they live in. The Croatian Serbs need to forget about the mythical belief that a Greater Serbia will be created. The Croatian Serbs will get the respect they deserve once they acknowledge that OLUJA was a legitmate action to rid Croatia of un-friendly's and terrorists and restore law and order in 'their' homeland which is named the Rep. Of Croatia. Many Serbs are paying the price because of their own leaders giving them incorrect information and false hope. Return to what? To a country where they can't get a job because of their ethnicity, so they can get their cars vandalized, their tires slashed, bricks thrown through their windows, get their houses graffitied? Croatians were Austro-Hungarian servants, Nazi puppets, and have obviously still not changed their ways. Their inferiority complex towards Serbs knows no bounds.

Contrary to what Bam Bam said below, Serbs will never respect the state of Croatia, in our hearts it is Serbian land.

Life after Croatia

pre 11 godina

Bam Bam is an American Ustasha. His opinions on Croatia are as relevant as his opinions on racial purity.

Gotovina now "wants Serbs to return"

And Ferrero Rocher for all at his house too?

I wonder how the empire's psychophants like Kandic and liberal euro loving media will explain this one? If the americans found Gotovina and co guilty, they they would also have accepted that they were guilty for war crimes along with the germans. Storm and Flash was not possible without either.

Of course not. You are forgetting to factor in double standards.

you have that choice..Intergrate or perish !

Perhaps Milosevic should have told something like that to KAlbs.

Thanks for providing some context. Yep, it is pretty bad.
Well, something that Serbs and Croats have in common: both capitols don't care about the rest of their respective countries.

OK President Nikolic, you lead the procession of people back to their homes in Croatia, whether the people are in horse and buggy or walking. Croatia says come back home, so do it! It would be interesting to see this happen, see what Croatia would do. I'm all for it!

According to international law, the krajina was/is a legal part of Croatian territory and as such removing an illegal occupation was called for. Funny how people like to change their definition of international law when it suits them. Think Kosovo....
(marcus, 19 November 2012 19:35

According to international law Kosovo was a part of Serbia but Im pretty sure that u dont think it would be called for to expell albanians occupying serb territory am I right? And by the way Krajina was a part of Croatia just as much as Croatia was a part of Yugoslavia.

for 1 the kraJshniks are not serbs but montenegrins just like the ones that live in bosnia and they should change the name RS to RCG.even the war in kosovo majority were krashnik and montengrin from bosnia that did the fighting srbinace they are nothing but rakia drinkers and did nothing but stuff their faces with drink and pig.so gotovina make sure you say it right next time. long live krajian,RCG and montenegro.the fight for atounomy for krajina should still fight on and the backing of montenegro should begin now, serbia is nothing but big talkers that did all this to OUR peoples and not yours. if you think kosovo is serbia your more foolish than we all think you are and soon sandzak and vojvodina will be gone because your to stupid and will sell your own mothers kids for quick money.so to all of my brothers and sisters from krajina and bosnia montenegro backs you forever.
(krajina crnogorac, 19 November 2012 17:03)
Just keep thinking that Kosovo is not serbian, in 50 years when the albanians in Montenegro will claim that montenegro is albanian you will blame urself and ur government for not getting rid of them in time.
