Commenting on his recent visit to Kosovo, von Sydow said that “democracy and human rights are going in the right direction but it takes time”.
Yes, it takes a lot of time, 'democracy' in a 'state' where the prime minister came to power by faked and manipulated elections, 'human rights' where a biased police and a justice system is playing down ethnically motivated crimes, etc.
“I spoke with the authorities in Priština about corruption, crime, rule of law, inefficiency of the system, position of women, domestic violence. Many steps still need to be made,” he stressed.
I think the authorities in Pristina can tell a lot about these things - they are experts in all these fields (with 'rule of law' means 'rule of mafia law', of course)
