You can smell how bad he wants that position, but it only shows the entire dilema of serb politics; shows how unrealistic they are, and not in touch with reality. There is no way this man will ever become UN secretary with a past like his. He is on-sided, driven by hate, and obsessed with the false idea that Kosovo is still part of Serbia. That alone completly disqualifies him, and contray to the way he got his present job, he needs the blessing of the Security Coucil, which he will never get, because there are 3 countries which will block, veto him. If he really wants that job, it would be time for him to make a complete U-Turn, throw everything he ever said and believed in overboard and reinvent himself, which is very unlikely. Right now he has not prooven himself of being a peace loving, unbiast person, and there is little hope he will ever have these human trades.

"renegade territories neither have, nor will they ever have the right of access to UN's institutions, as long as the UN Charter is respected.”

Well he can't be reffering to Kosovo as Kosovo currently has full access and membership in three UN institutions, the World Bank, the IMF and the IRU. Before you know it, Kosovo will have membership in more UN organ organisations as a seat in the General Assembly isn't required for a country to join these organisations; this is all in line with the UN Charter.

So it is nice to see that Mr Jeremic does't regard Kosovo as a "Renegade Territory" because Kosovo has access to UN institutions.

This is how you manipulate the press. Jeremic at lunch with a couple of representatives from other countries. I really really would like to be the next UNSG, a chuckle from one and a "hmmm" from the other.
Then press conference, there are some countries already discussing my being Ban's replacement.
No lies but not really the truth either.
In an arena where each of the 5 permament members hold the power of veto, I would say his chances are about the same as Thaci.

Renegade or not, but every time you were siting at UNSC session, across from you, was Kosova FM siting and getting the floor just like you. How soon you forgot this scenario? Now, we have a better pic for you. Kosova PM siting around the same table with Serbian PM. You must be bitter about all this.
