Israel fires missile at Syria from Golan Heights

The Israeli military fired a missile across the border at Syria, as a warning to that country after a Syrian missile landed on Israeli territory.

The Syrian uprising is an American-Israeli plot to topple the only decent Arab government.

I heard that the Assad regime and his father's before him was so 'decent' that Syria had to be under a state of emergency for almost half a century just so that they could remain in power. And then they occupied Lebanon for over 25 years. It really is a 'decent' inspirational government they have had in Syria.

The so-called “Free Syrian Army” has been beaten in every battle it has fought

ye, you are trying to equate the might of Asad army machinery with rag tag freedom fighters. Well, these guys did very well and are going to win the war, sooner rather than later. Asad will meet the same demise as Sadam.

The Assad government is not a decent one. It shot and killed protesters and then has shelled and killed civilians for the past year and a half. While there have been some good personal freedoms that islamists would not approve of, Syria needs a new government that is based on equality of all people and that is democratic. Also, Israel likes Assad and does not want to see him gone because he had kept the border quiet. The next Syrian government will press for the return of the Golan and may even fight for it in the future once rebuilding is complete.

Nothing surprising here.

The Syrian uprising is an American-Israeli plot to topple the only decent Arab government.

To do this they cobbled together a ragtag force of Al-Qaida militants, Libyan mercenaries and Syrian mobsters. This “army” is aided by British, French and American Special Forces, and regular troops from Qatar and Saudi Arabia whose only combat experience is beating disobedient women on the streets of Riyadh.

The so-called “Free Syrian Army” has been beaten in every battle it has fought and now confines it activities to kidnap, rape and murder of decent Syrians.

The Syrian war is all but over, but it has not ended as the Israelis had planned, hence the rocket attacks.

If things continue as they are going then the war will end with a conclusive defeat for the Americans and Israelis and their European poodles. That might be a hard thing for the Yanks to accept so some sort of semi-victory might be needed. Perhaps Israel will occupy another piece of Syria and call it a “protection zone,” and Turkey occupy territories near its border and call it a “humanitarian zone?”

Syria will not escape further deaths, destruction and perhaps partial occupation, but it will still be free and independent.

What is happening in Syria today is similar to what happened in Serbia in 1999. To escape extermination at the hands of NATO, Serbia had to temporarily surrender Kosovo.

To escape a similar threat of extermination, the Syrians may be forced to do likewise.
