Platform for Kosovo "should not be rushed”

If you have clever advisers than Tadic had, you should come to more pragmatic steps important for the economy, rather then for populistic propaganda. Stop double payment to so called patriots in North Kosovo. Agree to collect and share the taxes (mainly from custom) with Kosovo government. Enable Serbian companies to sell legally their products in Kosovo (south of Ibar). Enable Kosovo Albanian companies to sell in Serbia and collect the respective taxes (telecom, energy etc.) Create mutual free trade zones to promote investments and employment which might have the effect of allowing Serbs to turn back if they want. If, you Serbs are clever enough, you can get Kosovo back - in theory, only economically. All the rest is illusion, old fashion and even dangerous patriotism. Kosovo is not any more part of Serbia. In 50 years, in your school book will stay "... once upon a time, there was a strange region between mountains called Kosovo.... and the story goes on.

This government must have a different approach. Tadic knew perfect that you cant eat a vision but he wanted to give some hope till the next elections. Just give our citizens a chance to work, just to work and to earn something for their family. Vision is to open 500.000 new workplaces. Reality is that we lost 700.000. That’s why is important for government to fight against corruption, to make a normal ambient for people to live and work. I can just hope that this government will not lost a people's trust.

The true reason is, Serbia is only following the fixed papers from EU/Kosovo. Now the former government is setting frameworks for the current meetings. It sounds all that the Serb rulers will not telöl the truth what they have promised to do to foreign powers. The "platform" is only the permanently changing position on the way to recognize Kosovo. At the end the people will over night hear the news that everything was made public and its so the best to get next year a date for "important talks" about fishery and feeding of pigs. After the KS recognition Serbia has nothing to offer more on "the path towards EU". So the EU will say, OK but not more interesting for us.

The platform is a must-have much earlier because you can not talk to Albanians from Kosovo on the basis of ad hoc decisions (vision of former President Boris Tadic). Serbia for the first time will have previously worked out a plan for the possible ways to deal because Kosovo is Serbia open wound. Finally realize that dialogue and discussion only way to resolve the inevitable disagreements and not running away from the problems already walking toward them.

I agree, Serbian government must have a consensus about the platform. It is a positive move that SPC, parties and civil society are also involved. Serbia now need a unity and harmony specially as we intend to take as much as possible from these negotiations. I agree with Mr. Djuric and I believe that this government will have enough courage to make some decisions.

Why must tey involved??? A "platform" or better a strategy for the policy towards Kosovo should meet the public expectations, therefore its not important to meet the "civil society in Serbia" (what is this civil society? Serbs with only one rifle?)or the federations for sailing or stamp-collectors. Here is the target something different: the elite will give the "black card" to others to say later "but you were involved in the ultimatum and were not against it"

Possibly in Serbia its unknown. There is no opposition. Dacic-Tdic-Nikolic (and possibly also Thaci) its only one corba (or pasul). Some people would like to have not "a luxury anymore" with opposition. Sounds like Hitler? But anyway its not far from this.
