He said that "the dilemma over the production of GM foods in Serbia as a condition for acceding to the WTO is being set up as a false dilemma", and that "an expert debate will be held on all relevant issues".

This "famous" minister is known that he would sell Serbian interests for one Dinar. Nobody in the world would import agricultural products from Serbia on the GM-basic. Serbias agriculture has only a future on foreign markets with high enviromental standards and specialized products.

Serbia, please stay away from GM foods! This is one of the awful outcomes that's imposed on a country when they join the EU. As soon as you start to grow GM food, all foods become GM over time. It would actually be a better business move not produce any GM food at all. Think of it, all EU contries will come knocking on the door for real food once they learn that their own food has become tainted and depleted of any vitamins or nutrition.

WTO is the Rich Man's club. Serbia is better of outside the WTO. The world does not want contaminated GM food and will buy from GM-free food from Serbia.
