This shows the character of the man and the party led by Serbia over the past eight years. All of this could have been agreed and four months earlier. It is a style of politics that led Boris Tadić_ tightening the rope until the end and then suddenly give and acceptance of what could be right at the beginning.
(Darth Vader, 5 November 2012 17:54) Darth Vader don't be so tough on Boris dont you know how hard it is to find a job in Serbia. If you don't steal a company or appropriate a lot of money for your self to tide you over. Until your death of old age that definitely could be your last paying job. So Serbian taxpayers were a little dinged with Boris. Compared to other crooks that bashed and robed the Serbia's tax payers and refuse to go but their way back to the trough its all relative in Serbia.

Well everybody was fed up with Tadic, he didn't live up to expectations, its as simple as that.

He relied too much on a small circle of advisers, he was overly sensitive to criticism, he was too conservative, he lacked a political vision. His tenure as a leader in Serbia was ultimately a failure. He did have some small successes but its interesting that nobody can really point to much.

The only good thing to take out of this is the fact that he stepped aside, even if he did so once it became clear he could not win. Out of all the main political leaders he was the newest and yet he has moved aside before they did.

Other Serbian political leaders can lose election after election and will only give us their positions when carried out in a coffin.

I admit been thrown in gray area. Don't know clearly what to think of. Except that day by day it's getting clearer what Serbia lost in the killing of Djindjic.

I'm pretty sad. I pray that Nikolic and Dacic aren't what I think they are. Tadic... OK, he has failed. But not in all: he has a share in lifting Serbia's image in the eyes of the world around, not high but off the bottom were it again sank after the murder of Djindjic. But maybe he compromised in too many things in DS, and with wrong people. I don't know. Yet.

So...Mr. Tadic finally decided to let go his spot on the top of Democrat Party to, well known "owner" of many companies in Serbia, Mr. Djilas. Conclusion...DS will became "private company" with Djilas as it's "owner"...Well done Mr. Mayor! One more enterprise on your list. Good luck Democrats. Now you'll see what kind of man is your new leader. Of course, people in your party, with one and only task to concur with everything that Mr. Djilas says, will do well.

I don’t want to offend anyone from DS, as I was a part of the same plan do make a better society in Serbia. For god sake, how many times I was protesting against regime during the 1990s. Our expectations and energy after 5th October 2000 were unbelievable big , and Djijndjic was a carrier of all positive changes in our society. Who left after him in DS? Djilas: unbelievable rich man in unbelievable poor country. Djelic: unbelievable rich man in unbelievable poor country. Sutanovac: very rich(probably between 12 million a 15 million which not too much comparing with other colleagues from DS). Vlahovic: unbelievable rich. Petrovic: the newest and probably currently the richest man in DS as a true owner of Farmakom MB. Trivan: Very rich as she is a main coordinator between DS and Mr. Miskovic. Well done, I lost a huge time for what? I finally realized that this is the biggest mistake of my life after last bad move in the party. Decision of Mr. Tadic just to make a cosmetic changes and to save his position by this move. Goodbye DS, you are not the same political party for the last 10 years. It became a corporation! Shame of them. What would Zoran think to see this?
