My cousin helped hide 400 muslims from the serbs during the war,
He is now being investigated because nobody has ever found their hiding place.
What a stupid world.

Questioner

pre 11 godina

Only 600? Why not 6000? It would delay everything even more, the well-known Milosevic method. Or is Karadzic's health really that bad that 600 (estimated 2 years) are sufficient to avoid a court ruling?

Until yesterday you were calling this interational court a kangaroo court? change of mind, bud?
(ROCKY, 3 November 2012 01:34)

I did? I don't recall ever saying that though I have grinned a few times at the thought of Thaci and Haradinaj hanging from street lamps in northern Mitrovica. So I guess that makes us even in terms of fantasy justice :)

I heard that the prosecution want to call 8,000 innocent Bosniak men and boys as witnesses but they can't as they're no longer with us thanks to this evil man!

Judging by the increasing number of chins that g.Karadzic is developing he will be dead of a heart attack long before a small percentage of 600 witnesses have given evidence. After so many years hiding away it's ironic that Rado now wishes to spend so much time in full view of the public. Lastly, what did kangaroos ever do wrong to justify their name being attached to dubious legal proceedings?

Zoran, that link is rubbish. It makes no mention of the fact that General Fraser's boss, General Rose, unequivocally blamed Serbs for the far worse shellings against Muslims in Sarajevo in Feb 1994 and Aug 1995. Rose and other UNPROFOR officers made it quite clear to the media on numerous occasions that the Muslims were no angels, and that yes, they were frequently suspected of having a hand in the crimes against their civilians. As I might have told you before, Rose was even considered to be pro-Serb for making such statements. However, do enough research, and you'll find plenty of cases in which he believed Serbs guilty of heinous crimes. The fact that Karadzic probably didn't order every atrocity for which he stands accused doesn't mean he didn't order any atrocities. And rather than reading a report of one part of one witness's testimony, try reading a bunch of transcripts. I'll even make it easy for you -->
http://www.icty.org/case/karadzic/4#trans

And I would urge you to read the transcripts of General Rose's testimony in particular. Go to beginning of Oct 2010. Read same under Galic trial, too (Jun 2002, I believe).

Finally, order a copy of Rose's memoir. One of his UNPROFOR subordinates, Major Milos Stankovic, also wrote a good book on the subject.

Seselj called 0 (i.e. zero) witnesses and his case so far lasted how long? 10 years?
Zoran
Do a little research and see how many times the case was delayed and for how long because the defendant was sick, depressed, not feeling good, did not want to appear today, etc, etc, etc,
Then check to see how many side challenges the defense filed that had to be answered before the case could proceed, and frivolous lawsuits filed.
All to prevent ever going to a regular prison instead of the Hague Hilton.

Those on this board who think the Hague Kangaroo Court is a legal and not a political institution should think about this.
(Michael Thomas, 2 November 2012 19:57)
Those who do not think the court is legitimate are more than likely supporters of war criminals.
How many guilty people in any court in the world will deem their court/judges as legitmate and fair. Nothing new in your comment.

What's this

They need to let him explore every witness possible if it might prove anything guilty or not. What sort of a court is this? Seems very one sided to me.
(Mike Canada, 2 November 2012 17:44)
It isn't a court its a grotesque parody of a court that does the bidding of the U.S. Reich.

Vojislav Šešelj has been locked up in a Hague dungeon for almost 10 years. The Prosecution case against him ended almost 4 years ago and now the Hague Kangaroo Court doesn't know what to do with him.

They can find him guilt of Thought Crimes, but would then have to release him immediately. The Croat, Drazen Erdemovic, who fought with the NATO financed 10th Sabotage Unit of the Bosnian Serb Army confessed to murdering 1000 Moslems and was sentenced to 5 years in prison. Dr Šešelj has been charged with no murders and can hardly be jailed for longer than that Croat cutthroat.

Those on this board who think the Hague Kangaroo Court is a legal and not a political institution should think about this.

OK think about it, I have thought about it. Seselj called 0 (i.e. zero) witnesses and his case so far lasted how long? 10 years?

Taking that into consideration, this case should last about 40 years and cost the Hague about €3 billion. Somehow, I think Karadzic will be found dead in his cell before it is finished.
