even if asked for sources or a more profound explanation, they only come up with youtube- and wikipedia-links and even with outdated and of course disproved Encyclopedia Britannica-articles from over 100 years ago... but that´s all they can come up with at all! and nothing else have they learned in their albanian primary schools - otherwise they would have a life and wouldn´t smear such a nonsense...

as for the often mentioned "hate" for Albanians: I do not hate Albanians in general, I even know some!

what a funny post. You are describing the Serb posters not the Albanians, and I love that I don't hate them I even know one. The classic racist statement.

first of all: this is good news, but it will take more time to fight back the allegedly "democratic" gangs and their supporters from the important positions.

as for why the Albanians are coming to a serbian website...: it´s quite easy, this website is run by anti-serb circles and the Albanians simply enjoy reading from time to time some anti-serb comments and articles.

and of course some of them feel the need to spit out their pathological hatred against Serbs and Serbia, but usually in a very screwed english and mostly without deeper meaning in their comments.

Apparently B92 has a slightly different opinion than you in that they have full power to not print comments as they want. There is a more stringent editing of Albanian or proKosovo comments in some of the comments aimed at the Albanians would never be published if directed against Serbs. But if they agreed with you, all they would need to do is stop printing non Serb comments and that would be the end of the matter. As far as "pathetic lives" there are none so pathetic as those whose life is consumed with the level of hatred you and others harbor.

aaayyy, 30 October 2012 12:02)
I think if you review my previous comments you will not find where I have advocated that Pristina should rule over the north. I think that the energy and resources it takes to try and keep the north could benefit Kosovo immensely if redirected. But I also do not believe that the tactics used is to bring the north under control, I believe that the optimal opportunity for the Serbs in the north is through taking full advantage of the benefits of the Ahtissari Plan, but if they do not want it let them rejoin Serbia where they will become a forgotten people with no special money coming from Serbia nor the international community nor Kosovo, as they would no longer be minority but a part of the majority that find themselves as outcasts.

I have often wondered why those who hate Albanians so much are the ones that insist that Kosovo which is 95% Albanian must remain a part of Serbia. I would think that you would rather it forever be separated unless you have an ethnic cleansing campaign in mind.
(a New Day, 29 October 2012 19:33)

Have you wondered why Albanians who dislike Serbs, want to control Northern kosovo which is almost 100% serbian?

Have you also wondered why Bosniaks who dislike Serbs and Croats, want to control RS and Croatian regions of BiG?

One has to ask where this 3 billion of EU funding went. In fact, very little ends up in Serbia. Even those employed by the EU and living in Serbia have VAT/PDV exemption. It is a bit like US funding after destroying a country where companies line up for contracts and then most of the funding mysteriously disappears. It's a bit of joke.

South stream will soon surpass anything the EU has done for Serbia. We can expect at least €300 million annually in transit fees alone.

Why do you not stick to the Serbian site if you only want ultranationalistic views??

Really? Our youth is turning against the EU? Who would have thought our youth are that intelligent of what goes on in Europe beyond Grand Show and Red Star - Partizan brawls! But can you blame them looking at how many countries are literally falling apart because of the EU's insistence on austerity and Germany's attempt at weakening everyone's sovereignty? We've put up with a lot over the last 20 years, but we constantly hoped that the EU would finally be that light at the end of the tunnel. Turned out first that whenever we fulfilled obligations, new ones were put in its place. When we tried to meet those, additional ones were put up. This actually turned out to be a blessing in disguise as staying out of the EU kept us from being another Greece or Spain. Now the EU has nothing to offer us except unemployment, privatisation of industries, regulation after regulation, and total control by German and French banks. Sorry folks, not for us. You can even see Croats now beginning to regret being so pro-EU all those years as they have little under a year of actual sovereign independence left before the country is carved up into private time shares. And all this nonsense about no EU without making a deal with Kosovo is the stupidest thing possible because all we have to do is continue to stall in order to get Ashton to offer more concessions over parts of the territory we already control. There's no incentive for anybody to move forward.

Right, if this is true could you care to explain how the EU actually selected Italy's PM after Berlusconi left office? And how Herman Van Rompuy simply stated that it wasn't a good time for Italy to undergo elections. Are you kidding me? The fact you are trying to argue that the EU is some sort of defender of democracy is nothing short of a joke, the fact that Brussels thinks they have the right to impose leaders and tell the people of a nation that it isn't a good time for elections shows characteristics more closely related to imperialism. Let's be clear, although there is so much wind about the crisis in Southern Europe and especially in Greece... The standard of living in those countries is still at least two to three times higher compared to Serbia and the entire Western Balkans. People enjoy by far more legal certainty and rights. Minorities are better respected and part of society. Even if the economic power would cut into half within the EU, citizens would be still by far better off compared to Serbia. Apart from that, this is not going to happen, because people are highly educated, their houses are in much better shape and need less investment to keep them in good shape, transportation networks are new and in good shape, trains are running fast on good tracks, there is a giant stock of good airplaines, transporters, ships, people already have new and running cars, their privat money is invested in all kinds of stuff that would sustain largely even the breakup of the Euro. I don't say nothing would happen, it would be a disaster, but the result would be far away from the situation in the Western Balkans.
Besides these rather materialistic aspects, people's rights of assembly, freedom, free speach and so on is by far better protected. Russia is not a good option for Serbia. If Russian citizens would enjoy the rights people enjoy in the EU, you would hear a lot more about protests or citizens are just used to low standards... It is all surpressed. There is no substance behind lip-service!

"That is not true," writes the daily. "The most was received from the EU - 3.3 bullion euros. During the same period of time 150 million euros came from Russia, some 20 times less than from the union."

The same goes for the importance of Russia and the EU regarding economy: For Serbia, the EU is the main export partner, followed by the neighboring countries, and Russia is far behind with less exports than to Montenegro.

This phenomenon seems to be a problem caused by media and propaganda of politicians. How else can this misperception be explained? Or is it really true that Serbs prefer to belief in myths than in reality?

This is promising news as the Serbian people are beginning to wake up to the true nature of the EU, and the disadvantages it will bring to Serbia. The youth are the future of Serbia, and they will dictate Serbia's future. One doesn't have to look at any data to understand why young Serbs have turned against the the EU.Their decision is dictated mainly by two facts, firstly their counterparts in Greece,Spain,Italy,Portugal and Ireland are having a torrid time as far as employment is concerned and secondly is the attempt by the EU to legitimatise the theft part of its territory.

There is 50% unemployment among the youth of those countries, most of whom had absolutely nothing to do with the financial crash.Hence measures are being imposed by a set of faceless technocrats in EU which are effectively removing ANY hope they may have had of finding some sort of job AND taking away what state support there was before in order to prop up this teetering house of cards with its insane profit motive.

With regard to Kosovo the EU won't back down and they will press ahead with their plans to totally humiliate Serbia with their entry invented criteria and finally succeed in dismembering it.

Right. Because you would consider the opening of abortion clinics throughout Serbia as some sort of assistance to the Serbian people. Also, the underlying reality is the EU will NOT be able to provide as much money towards the entire Balkans as they could up until now. Western Europe is half way into social abyss and all the EU can rely on is its political clout to have their way in the region.

EU membership is not a realistic scenario for Serbia. The Eurasian Union which will be fully functioning by 2014 is a much sounder option for Serbia not only for the obvious political reasons, but economically, the countries in the Eurasian Union are much more compatible with Serbia's market than Germany or the UK.

Serbia should work on becoming an attractive investment destination for whoever is looking to invest. As when it comes to business, Serbia should be colorblind and welcome all.

I have often wondered why those who hate Albanians so much are the ones that insist that Kosovo which is 95% Albanian must remain a part of Serbia. I would think that you would rather it forever be separated unless you have an ethnic cleansing campaign in mind.
But I am sure that the day that your English version of what you call a Serbian site no longer publishes things about Kosovo or Albanians the readership will decline, you think?
Why do you not stick to the Serbian site if you only want ultranationalistic views??

Apparently B92 has a slightly different opinion than you in that they have full power to not print comments as they want. There is a more stringent editing of Albanian or proKosovo comments in some of the comments aimed at the Albanians would never be published if directed against Serbs.

However Western governments simply have opposite interests towards Serbia and the Balkans than Serbs do. Therefore- Russia, Israel & China should be paid more attention too than decaying EU.

There is no substance behind lip-service!

analysts are looking at the data, trying to understand why the young population, until recently considered the most enthusiastic advocates of EU integration, have turned against it.

B92

Nikolic still has few aces in his hands to play against the EU designs. He could either withdraw or freeze his application all together.Such a move could sound alarm bells in Brussels and will confirm that Kosovo will remain a protectorate financed solely by the EU for indefinite period. It's Kosovo that needs recognition not Serbia.

This is promising news as the Serbian people are beginning to wake up to the true nature of the EU, and the disadvantages it will bring to Serbia. The youth are the future of Serbia, and they will dictate Serbia's future. This isn't to say that people over 60 are completely irrelevant, but whilst the youth pave the way for Serbia's future the elderly will have to fall in line, those older members of the electorate had their chance and they blew it by putting damaging politicians in power.

The Serbian youth isn't stupid, they can see all of this and are afraid of it. They are correct to be afraid and correct to want to steer well clear of the EU.
