The Republica Srpska will disappear and become a part of a more centrally governed Bosnia and Hercegovina very soon.

RS is here to stay ,your Croats are disappearing while Muslims emigrate each year (25000) to third countries,so whole of Bosnia will over time become Serbian!

You know whats funny? There are more Muslims living in Serbia than Montenegro, but Montenegro gets a lot of hate. Yes i know Serbia is a bigger country but Muslims more power in Serbia and control certain Cities that have a lot of land mass.

You are a Serb if your bloodline defines you as one or if you choose to define yourself as one. The politics of exclusion such as the one that Vladimir chooses has been detrimental to our society. I have often heard this kind of stupidity directed at Macedonians, Bosnians, etc and those who wished to be included in the Family of Serbs, but were denied. Such practices only strengthened our enemies, who where only too happy to accept those cast away. The day came when we needed all the help we could get and many turned us away.

This man ought to be fully supported, any minority in Serbia which respects Serbia as their state ought to be shown respect in return. This is the attitude that should be encouraged, while the extremism of Zukorlic ought to be denounced and made to look as bad as it is. Zukorlic unlike Jusufspahic is truly anti-Serb and an enemy of the state. I can't disagree that Orthodox Christianity is very important to Serbian identity but if a Muslim such as Jusufspahic shows alliegance to the Serbian state then he should be welcomed, I must also make clear that during WWII the Chetniks did also have some Muslim fighters due to their loyalty to the King, such Muslims still recieve great respect from true Serbian Chetniks.

Ari Gold, I would however have to disagree that people cannot be Chetniks now, this is because the Chetnik movement still exists and members of it are Chetniks and should be regarded as such.

Nori

Ari Gold. There is a serious problem in todays serbia, i see so many attempts of washing out what Serbs have done without ever condeming it or extending an apologize, your image of serbs and serbia is not coherent with reality whatsoever.

C simply asked how many Muslims live in Belgrade and are celebrating this Bayram.
According to 2011 census...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgrade#Demographics

"...religious communities in Belgrade. The Serbian Orthodox community is by far the largest, with 1,429,170 adherents. There are also 20,366 Muslims, 16,305 Roman Catholics, and 3,796 Protestants, 2,200 Jews, etc."

So, the answer would be 20,366. There could be more ethnic Albanians or Bosnians who did not declare any religious affiliation, and are therefor in "atheist" category.

We cannot be Chetniks because that was the Royalist Movement of WWII which formed the very first anti-Nazi guerrilla army in Europe. However, claiming that Chetnik heritage is nothing but an honor and more Serbs need to do so.

Those like "Seselj" who claims hes a modern day Chetnik and those who committed crimes and called themselves "Chetniks" have nothing to do with the heritage of that original movement.

Most people who fought in WWII have died so we can't be Chetniks. But we should completely rehabilitate and be proud of our patriotic past that was destroyed by the Titoists and Otpor-istas

Serbs and Croats are defined by their religion so it makes this a bit muddy. A Catholic living in Bosnia will say he is Croatian the same as an Orthodox will say they are Serb. A Catholic living in Serbia will say they are Croatian just like an Orthodox living in Croatia will say they are a Serb, so these two groups define themselves by religion and not geography. A person who has not been christened or who decides to be an athiest or agnostic coming from an Orthodox family is still considered a Serb becauuse of their heritage, same for the other group.

So yes, we can say that a Serb is defined by his religion because I can't see too many Muslims or Catholics in Serbia saying they are Serbs.

First of all a chetnik is not something to be ashamed of. Who were chetniks? Do a little research and you will find that they were loyal to the king and not a Communist Tito and did NOT commit atrocities like their counterparts Ustashi who were loyal to Hitler.
So saying chetnik and Serb in the same sentence is not insulting however hard to try to make it.

Second, Serbs do live in harmony with others. How many different ethnic and religious groups live in Serbia? When you answer that, you will be able to see how ridiculous your unsubstantiated comment is.
Serbia is the one country there which has a biggest ethnic and religious mix. You show me where else there is more minorities. They all live peacefully, or would you like to distort that?

A Serb is anyone living in Serbia (or in the Balkans) showing allegiance to the state of Serbia. Is Cedomir Jovanovic or the b92 Otpor-ista's bigger Serbs than this guy? I'd say no.

This Mufti needs the utmost support from all Serbs. Meanwhile, we should follow Russia and Israel's method of dealing with the terrorists ran by Mufti Zukorlic and show absolutely no mercy. Starting with that criminal scum bag, the terrorists need to be rounded up, jailed and preferably executed or placed in work camps.

But the honorable Mufti Jusufspahic deserves all the praise in the world. May God bless him and all moderate Muslims, even though that seems to be a dying breed.
