These were Albanian Vilayets under Ottoman Empire which had Albanian majority , since then there have been ethnographic changes due to ethnic cleansing and wars. But still do you think it`s a coincidence that 3 mln albanians live in Albania but another 3 mln live outside in the neighboring countries (count me any other nations which has a similar case) . It`s not like Macedonia Serbia or Montenegro (ex-yugoslavia) have a higher life standard than Albania so the "migration" theory that has been set up by those countries is just a lie to

You mean like the world should better have payed more attention some years ago when first only a few Serbs started to promote their 'Greater Serbia' project, and it escalated into the Balkan war?
Well a protest of less than 50 people is hardly newsworthy really...
In my experience most people in Albania have more pressing issues than the status of Kosovo - with the exception of those with family in Kosovo or in areas close to the border.

Well, I hope the visit goes well. I'm sure there'll be some back and forth over Kosovo, but then it would be nice if the parties focus at least part of their time on more productive topics.
As for the Red and Black...oh well. Every country has to deal with that sort.

The general public opinion in Albania tends not so much in favor of a greater Albania-as this would not solve our problems- but rather to encourage the development and prosperity of Kosovo. So please wake up, and start to look the things as they are in the reality. Let me ask you a question: do you really believe that the politicians in KS and ALB would agree to merge the two countries?? If your answer is yes, well let me tell you that there are no politicians who would give up their power. and merging the two countries is not more than that.
